Probably matt will call up one of his gardening mates from when he was inside to do the actual murdering but I can so imagine him getting Darryl in to do the patio work.

My latest wrong as usual theory: Matt has organised a proper holiday to Turkey; is it a full fortnight? it's certainly more than a long weekend. As the date arrives he suddenly 'discovers' that he can't take time off. He persuades Lillian to go without him, knowing that she will take Paul instead (he will be easily convinced because he will be vulnerable as he is smarting over the wedding). Whilst the two are well out of the country, Matt will bring into place his master plan that involves financially ruining Paul because he knows that, the moment that the money dries up, Paul will lose his attraction to Lil.
Revenge is a dish best served cold. Mwah ha ha.
