FFS Lil, he's just a bit on the side. If he pisses you off just bin him. Don't start sounding so downtrodden.

Well that was disappointing.

I really don't recognise this Lillian - surely she knows Matt well enough for her antennae to be twitching !

What a swizz. I thought it would all kick off tonight and have been looking forward to it( sad life emoticon).

I know :( I timed my evening so I could listen to Matt tracking them down and SLTTC

I even managed to persuade ds that listening to the archers in Big Bed was a massive treat and a more than adequate substitute for a bedtime story. Don't think he'll fall for it two nights in a row.

Annoying SW people.

there's a new patio being built...

Agree with PigletJohn - I think the tension is building with this storyline and Lilian's transformation to vulnerable seems realistic to me.

I wonder which of them will do it.

I reckon Paul will try and Matt will rescue her.

Glad someone else noticed Paul's voice had changed ...do they think we are fools????!! Can't believe Lillian didn't tell Matt she was talking to a builder at the races though...it was obviously a risk that the other Locke would mention it...I do hope she gets caught though cos I'm sick of hearing those icky sex scenes where she goes all Frankie Howard....

Shakes Lilian to the core ?

Report

So no SLTTC yesterday then? Grin

RocknRollNerd · 12/05/2013 08:46

Grin at SLTTC! Shit though the original SATTC was it's at least left us with a handy acronym!

Michael Fenton Stevens was saying on Twitter that it's deliberate with Paul's accent - apparently as he gets more relaxed he's showing his 'true self'...

Matt must leap into action this coming week surely?

I'm confused - when Paul is lying about his family situation does he believe that is what's going on i.e. his wife is being the problem with his kids rather than him?

Report
Graceparkhill · 12/05/2013 11:37

I am not sure. I am inclined to think he is spinning a deliberate web of deceit rather than being genuinely deluded!

I noticed Paul's voice changing too. It sounded like a completely different
bad actor.

I do like this story line, it's all building up to something........Grin.

Perhaps they are conveying the message that a man with a nice voice is just pretending to be a Good Egg, and a man with a common voice is violent and abusive?

Are the script planners going back to the "all men are bastards (or crooks, or weak and useless)" theme again?

ppeatfruit · 12/05/2013 16:08

I'm just thinking through the men in TA and working out the nice ones. David, Tony maybe a bit weak, Neil, Tom Grin, they are in the minority oh the vicar's okay. Roy's okay. Anyone else?
