Until I came here I had never had people to talk to about the Archers - even in RL.

I lurked a lot, but rarely posted as I wasn't witty enough :o

I lurked in the Discuss The Archers bit but posted mainly in the off-topic area. No secrets but the knowledge some of the posters had of Archers' history and trivia was phenomenal and some were very very witty indeed.

Irreverent pisstaking is the only way to approach this broadcasting National Treasure in my opinion so am pleased it is taken here .
