Divatheshopaholic · 25/04/2010 22:19

Divatheshopaholic · 25/04/2010 22:22

Nicola, you got Apples Quest for sale???

OP posts:
maxybrown · 25/04/2010 22:22

Got aplique tees

I like stars but then never put it on him as always reminds me of america - stars and stripes kind of thing

Might get some polo tops for a change

Spitfire fabby diva and yes it is a ryder - I think they have improved the triumph, not as laid back as it was.

Divatheshopaholic · 25/04/2010 22:25

Maxy, if you have clear out let me know
Ds had Gap fleece on during weekend, it was soo soft and lightweight. I need some for dd,too.
Is it right triumph is between quest and volo?

OP posts:
maxybrown · 25/04/2010 22:33

ok, not yet though

Yes that's right.

Divatheshopaholic · 25/04/2010 22:35

Is this the correct order from small to big?
Volo, triumph, quest, ryder, xt, xlr?
Im not thinking of getting Ryder, is there big difference when folded between quest and ryder?

OP posts:
maxybrown · 25/04/2010 22:36

Yes that's right.

Not big difference when folded no, some difference yes - but Ryder has bigger wheels

sal1309 · 25/04/2010 22:49

wow its been busy today

maxy thanks for the email .

I have been round at my friends to pick up my dogs and ended up staying for tea and 4 bottles of wine between us. Needless to say im now rather drunk lol.

we have both just took over our tots group and have been discussing our plan of action to make it better but got a horrible feeling we might upset a few people with the changes, suppose we will find out when we hold a meeting lol.

diva if you decide to buy a zapp im selling the one i have at my mums but do think they are a marmite pram iykwim.

carrielou2007 · 25/04/2010 23:03

Wine sal have replied on other thread, if I have the right person that is, think your surname starts with a p, hubbies email??

Can't get this bloomin wheel to unlock, getting cross with it now, I like swivel!!!!!!!

BexieID · 26/04/2010 00:05

carrie, the front wheel on my urban became stuck and Dust would fix it and it'd stick again. Lady on pram board had it from me for friend and said she could fix it. Will ask her for you.

My parents picked up my Callisto finally from mamas and papas!

BexieID · 26/04/2010 00:09

Oh, Happy Birthday me .

horsemadgal · 26/04/2010 00:31

Happy Birthday Bexie. Have a fab day.

nicolamumof3 · 26/04/2010 07:32

Happy Happy Birthday Bexie!

I had that prob with my P&T the wheel kept sticking on lock drove me nuts!

Diva cannot decide about apples tbh. i like the volo alot but then i like quest too..i like the features on quest. Gah can't decide.

Triumph is still v.laid back tis why Gemma and Lisa on other board sold purple.

sal1309 · 26/04/2010 08:13

nicolamumof3 · 26/04/2010 08:21

Divatheshopaholic · 26/04/2010 08:33

Morning all,
Happy birthday Bexie, Have a fabby day!
Carrie, never had problem with lock, but i could ask my friend who is MB expert.
Nicola, i gave purple truimph miss, too. Friend emailed me and offered her butchers stripe, if i need while mine goes back. I dont think i will be happy with laid backrest, too.
Looking at ryders now, are they better?
Sal, gorgeous name

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 26/04/2010 09:05

ryder is bigger chassis, squarer larger hood and larger wheels so you may prefer but it is bigger and heavier. ryder current models are 4seasons, spitfire and juicy oh and the owen (tartan check) i had one as my buggy for Tate and really really loved it in chestnut with gorgeous furry footmuff!

maxybrown · 26/04/2010 09:05

I hated triumph for various reasons but spitfire is fabby though Diva, which is a ryder obviously.

Happy Birthday bexie hope you have a nice day!

Lovely name Sal too

maxybrown · 26/04/2010 09:07

looks good Diva

carrielou2007 · 26/04/2010 09:22

Morning

Happy birthday Bexie

Lovely name Sal

Not tried MB wheel this morning, dd has sat and eaten her toast in it and being a tallie she has bags and bags of room!!!! Wheeled ds around it in which he loved slightly sitting up a bit. Fixed wheel is fab for running but need to lose a bit more weight first.

I loved the black frame mothercare 3 wheeler as it had lots of pockets, bumper bar, pocket for raincover and was super easy to push but heavy to carry and massive folded. I can see the draw of this and with my snunkie apples/pears liner and new YM bag I gave in and ordered last night think it will look fab!!

nicolamumof3 · 26/04/2010 09:45

oooh i didn't know you had that liner carrie!! dibs please is it universal?

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/04/2010 10:23

Happy Birthday Bexie!

Carrielou I loved my MB. I loved the sparse-ness of it. It felt as if it would last forever. I did get a liner though.

I compared the quest and triumph in mothercare last week and the triumph is still much more laid back. When I owned one years ago I altered it on the sewing machine to sit up more!

Sal I love the name too.

Waiting for my quest. Must actually check if its out for delivery.
Need to go and get a box though to send a unicycle!

maxybrown · 26/04/2010 10:58

I haven't seen a new triumph yet - none of the ones in Mothercare by s were the new new ones, all the pictures on line look really upright though - misleading then! Cheek!
