Hi everyone - now I understood what you meant Dunoon! I hadn't looked at the amount of messages!!

Basl - I can count on one hand how many dresses I have owned/worn in my lifetime, so doubtful Though I do still have one!! Maybe I should make it my aim to get in it? I must look for a picture of myself in it as it was bought for my friends wedding.

Anyway, you were going jogging!! Much more impressive than me - I dod it in my front room - which, if you could have seen me was fair enogh - my tummy was boinging up and down and my knickers falling down - attractive and then i needed a wee

ill wait to see what others think?

Hope Tate picks up soon.

nicolamumof3 · 19/03/2010 22:41

yes its night night from me too ladies xx

BexieID · 19/03/2010 22:48

Aww, shame about easter hols as i'll be nr London at my parents in Wokingham. Think it'll be too far to come on my own on train with Erin otherwise. Do drive but hate motorway driving, which is why me and kids don't goto my parents on our own.

nicolamumof3 · 19/03/2010 22:53

how long is it on train bex?

BexieID · 19/03/2010 22:58

From Glasgow it's around 5 hours to London Euston (according to my brother), 40 mins from Dumbarton to Glasgow. From Wokingham, it's only about 50 mins to Waterloo.

BexieID · 19/03/2010 23:40

What about a holiday flat/apartment?

basl · 20/03/2010 00:11

Sorry i am back and i know everyone off to bed but dh wanted to use computer how rude! I have been thinking about this and why not set a date in the future so we all have time to arrange sitters etc. I think if we leave it a while we will have time to plan. Will mn hq not be able to suggest a venue? I get so carried away. Just thinking we could hire a room and if children are coming they can have a little run around and we can dance. Sorry i have been on a high talking about this again and i loved the centre parks idea but i do think there would be better options. The noice factor is a problem in travel inns. Walls like paper and can hear me laughing way down at reception. I love the sound of london and bexie what about a flight? I could meet you and erin at glasgow airport and we could catch a cheapy flight to london. Shame we are the minority as Glasgow is superb. Anyway no rush and we will keep arranging and Maxy you and i can get our fortune told. x

basl · 20/03/2010 00:20

Sorry one last thought, we have stayed in pickering? which is next door to flaminingo land in Stainers farm cottages. Middle no where but that sort of thing would be ideal as we could chat till late and not be bothered about noice. I am no party animal but i do laugh loud. It was a working farm and the stables have been converted into cottages. I have to say they are lovley. Sure if we look up something in the middle or london we could find some private letting. Now if you all came to scotland castles come cheap here.

Summer Holiday Lyrics

Send "Summer Holiday" Ringtones to Cell

We're all going on a summer holiday.
No more working for a week or two.
Fun and laughter on a summer holiday.
No more worries for me and you.
For a week or two.

We're going where the sun shines brightly.
We're going where the sea is blue.
We've seen it in the movies.
Now let's see if it's true.

Everybody has a MN holiday
Doing things they always wanted to.
So we're going on a MN holiday
To make our dreams come true
For me and you.

We're going where the sun shines brightly.
We're going where the sea is blue.
We've seen it in the movies.
Now let's see if it's true.

Everybody has a summer holiday
Doing things they always wanted to.
So we're going on a Mn holiday
To make our dreams come true
For me and you.
Hmmmmmm, hmmmmmmm...
Hmmmmmm, hmmmmmmm...
Hmmmmmm, hmmmmmmm...

oopsy guess who had a bottle of wine all to their self tonight.

maxybrown · 20/03/2010 07:44

lol Basl.....soooooooooooooo funny

Right let's get one thing straight, this came about from having a break getting away from it all - so, different for those on their own or who have small bubs, but Basl, YOU are having a break from it all ok? No children or anything for you my dear and that's an order!!! And no offence to anyone who needs to bring little ones there, sure you know where I am coming from!

Glasgow would be fab you are right, but tyring to pick somewhere where everyone does some travelling, also it doesn't have to be a one off, we can always organise smaller meeets for days etc, I am happy to do Glasgow for a day - fabby! Or even a stay over hee hee.

We need somewhere that is used to having hen parties or something so they are used to Basls loud laugh noise

HI everyone need some advice looking for a small and lightweight buggy with leg rest and layback facility for a 2.5 year old.

I have been looking at maclaren quests as im a big fan but have just seen a Jane sonic anyone know anything about them/what they are like?? They only weigh 5.5kg and fold smaller than a quest.

Need something that is easy to take on public transport.

GeekOfTheWeek · 20/03/2010 11:46

Morning all,

5in - I have name changed a few times, OneFatArse wa sthe last!

basl - how's your head? Mine's sore after the rendition of summer holiday

I am not happy today. Dh has gone on a stag do which we can't really afford but I made him go as its his friend. Anyway, he was caught speeding a few months ago and the fine has just come through from court this morning. £585. I am so upset and Not even sure if I can speak to him as I am furious.

He doesn't know yet about the amount. He keeps apologising and I think he is genuinely sorry but I could throttle him.
