Hi everyone - now I understood what you meant Dunoon! I hadn't looked at the amount of messages!!

Basl - I can count on one hand how many dresses I have owned/worn in my lifetime, so doubtful Though I do still have one!! Maybe I should make it my aim to get in it? I must look for a picture of myself in it as it was bought for my friends wedding.

Anyway, you were going jogging!! Much more impressive than me - I dod it in my front room - which, if you could have seen me was fair enogh - my tummy was boinging up and down and my knickers falling down - attractive and then i needed a wee

ill wait to see what others think?

Hope Tate picks up soon.

basl · 19/03/2010 21:22

Nic i turn into a differnet person at work. It is always remarked on how chirpy cheery i am and so happy go lucky just shows what people hide so well. It's all mega sales at my work now and not what i signed up for but i really do like it and go into another world. The hours are so bad but i am well paid for what i do so not chance of giving it up.

5inthebed · 19/03/2010 21:25

LOL Basl, thats something I would do.

How much were the covers, if you don't mind me asking?

maxybrown · 19/03/2010 21:28

Oh I am missing work atm but I feel so guilty saying that as I am very grateful to be at home with James whilst he is little. Once he is 5 I will have to look for a job then. I hated my last job though, but friend texted me last night to say the school I worked at in Devon has just got outstanding from OFSTED, the only one in that area, I was so pleased for them and yet so sad as I loved it there..........and I left to come back "home" but I did meet DH and have DS so well worth it......just need to leave again now

maxybrown · 19/03/2010 21:30

Basl have you a business? It says on their website they supply to trade only I wondered how much it would be for diff covers for elite

Evening all - hope you and boys are feeling better Nicola - basl your story made me laugh.

Went for my tests the other day and only ended up having one done . Woke up with a stinking cold - Got ds to nursery and he was really clingy as none of his friends were there...peel him off me and get to the hospital at 11.30 - wait for an hour for the ecg - which took five minutes and then get to the other dept to have the heart monitor fitted. The form says you can go anytime between 11-2 and then it turns out there were too many people booked in so I have to go back next week. Felt really annoyed as it means I will have to take ds with me as I can't afford an extra session at nursery. Results will be back in two weeks - so have to wait and see. Am still feeling short of breath, but my palpitations are feeling a bit better - god know what is going on...am trying not to worry, but I really don't feel that great atm

basl · 19/03/2010 21:34

mmmmhhh i think about £100 in total as it is new hood and new seat unit. I know i am off my head but when i go to sell all my stuff sure it will go no problem.
Maxy why don't we have our forune told on this pj party? Very worth it maxy if you ask me.

carrielou2007 · 19/03/2010 21:37

I did really laugh at that image basl

I'm not missing work at all at the moment and I LOVE my job!! I have been in quite a few times but I am so enjoying being off. Not liking the having no wages but I missed so much having to go back when dd was so small I am determined to be off a little longer with ds.

Diva my muddy puddles came today, it's a diff MNtter I bought the bag from. I guess I am just impatient!!

I can't wait for a meetup though would have to bring dd and ds with me (they're both well behaved!!) but wondering how to lose 2 stone before then

basl · 19/03/2010 21:38

oh no Janx that no good. Honestly it is getting out of hand. Why do we get such a poor service here? I really hope you get sorted out soon.x
Maxy yeah i have no business ordering such a bloody expensive accessory. I just called them up and asked if they sold them and they said yes and paid with my credit card.
I don't know what colours the elite would have but apparently they have some new colours.

lets meet lets meet
i cant wait to see everyone.

janx · 19/03/2010 21:43

I might end up having to tell my mum so she could look after ds - he would be so bored if I took him...which would make me more stressy. Don't want to tell my mum as she is such a worrier, but not really got anyone who is around on a Thursday

basl · 19/03/2010 21:44

Carrie that would be lovley to see your kids. Olivia can't sleep but off to bed now bless her.

Divatheshopaholic · 19/03/2010 21:45

hi Olivia, i have dd, who also loves typing whenever she allowed

maxybrown · 19/03/2010 21:48

Oh Jan, really we all need to arrange to live within a ten mile radius of each other to all help each other out. Try and relax as much as poss xx

Bals, your ideas are great....fortunes told

maxybrown · 19/03/2010 21:50

can I please not bring my DS though? I love him to bits but in 2 and a half years have never once been away from him ever and quite looking forward to it is that bad? Would just like to be a person rather than a mummy if that makes sense? for one night anwyay

OP posts:
Divatheshopaholic · 19/03/2010 21:53

me too, maxy.
i never left my kids, eldest 5 soon. im looking forward.

maxybrown · 19/03/2010 21:54

I loved Basl's idea of a caravan site

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 19/03/2010 22:10

i am back...

caravan site?? where are we going btw? is london off? please remember i don't drive so need to be commutable.

I am fine with you brining dc's carrielou if you're happy?

I am coming solo tho as you say i will be more me without them rather than 'don't do that' 'don't touch that' 'no you can't eat that' you get the picture!!

maxybrown · 19/03/2010 22:17

Noooooooo, I was just being silly! Something basl said yesterday or the other day.....can't remember!

I don't drive either!

OP posts:
carrielou2007 · 19/03/2010 22:22

I have to bring them both as have to bring ds to feed him so can't then leave dd. I have only left her twice and one of those was whilst I was having her brother. If their dad and I were together and ds was a bit older I would leave them but I can't.

I was thinking centre parcs do 2 day specials for the spa bit plus we could all fit in the lodges and being in the woods could make as much noise as we liked

maxybrown · 19/03/2010 22:24

ooh that's an idea carrie. where is that in terms of people travelling?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 19/03/2010 22:29

CP would be lovely but not sure how easy without a car? must admit would feel bit guilty spending too much could prob only manage a night away?

maxybrown · 19/03/2010 22:31

yeah me too. It is a tad exoensive there isn't it! But seems to be minimum of 3 nights from website.

We need a cheapy hotel deal thingy majigy don't we?

OP posts:
carrielou2007 · 19/03/2010 22:34

Bit more than I thought it would be we used to do a fri-mon break with 8 of us in a lodge and would work out about 90 each plus then your activites. Not great locations either.

We just want a cheapy travel lodge or something really??
