Hi everyone - now I understood what you meant Dunoon! I hadn't looked at the amount of messages!!

Basl - I can count on one hand how many dresses I have owned/worn in my lifetime, so doubtful Though I do still have one!! Maybe I should make it my aim to get in it? I must look for a picture of myself in it as it was bought for my friends wedding.

Anyway, you were going jogging!! Much more impressive than me - I dod it in my front room - which, if you could have seen me was fair enogh - my tummy was boinging up and down and my knickers falling down - attractive and then i needed a wee

ill wait to see what others think?

Hope Tate picks up soon.

I am after an all black buggy though as it clashes with my changing bags (my other vice) lol and I especially love a black chassis

maxybrown · 27/03/2010 16:42

Thanks Basl

Ooh lecohen that is pretty - use it!

Does anyone know if ELC have same offers in store as online?

oh that's lovley. I do understand the need to co-ordinate. I am like that and it is really annoying. I love that colour and if i was into prams when olivia was in them i think i would have to sectioned or something as i would have gone mad deciding on colours and accessories. Is the nomad black seat unit as i think one of them looks black but actually a greyish black iykwm

BexieID · 27/03/2010 17:07

Citisport is not mouldy, though mum can't remember how to unfold it. I'll know once it's in front of me.

nicola, what age would you get Triumph for? Might have to look at one. Really don't think my parents would appreciate yet another buggy being delivered, lol.

Having the XT picked up monday. Had already promised it to a lady on pram boards sils sister, (as she had a prem baby and didn't know she was expecting, bless) before I knew the Callisto was damaged.

I'm still ever hopefull Callisto will come whilst we're down. Fingers crossed.

nicolamumof3 · 27/03/2010 18:50

over one year personally for the triumph..

evening all. am exhausted so prob early night for me.

5inthebed · 27/03/2010 20:35

Evening ladies.

Been busy busy busy today. Feel worn out!

Maxy do you want BJ tray

Basl, yes I did have the nipper with the hole in the hood

basl · 27/03/2010 20:50

Evening, 5in what happened to it? I remember you saying how nice it was. What was your opinion on it. I have asked these questions a hundred times over and even had poor nic measure the width for me bought one sold it and now thinking about it again. It's the baby jogger city mini saga all over again.

5inthebed · 27/03/2010 20:58

I did like it, but wanted to try a BJCE, as I loved the BJCM, especially the way it folds. BJCE is relly light, but a beast to get in and out of the car.

Streety didn't get delivered today

nicolamumof3 · 27/03/2010 20:58

right lets sort you out basl

i have nipper which i rarely use and keep going to sell it but dh reminds me 'NOOOOOOO'! i know it will be fab on holidays...fab in summer for trips to farm, beach, woods etc. And then again next winter i know that luka will still need a pram in bad weather or if unwell. So i am keeping it for those reasons. The nipper is superlight, easy to fold and compact when folded, just a very simple design which i love no frills.

so depends on whether you feel you need air tyres? how often are you using the elite atm? i literally may only use nipper once or twice a month but its tucked away in utility. I sold all my acc's for it so i don't feel guilty in keeping it. I've always loved my strollers and atm i am loving the volo ALOT i prefer to the quest i think!!

nicolamumof3 · 27/03/2010 20:59

oh no shame about streety 5in when did it get picked up? did you pay extra for saturday del?

would you like pics of the next jacket btw? or are you sorted?

GeekOfTheWeek · 27/03/2010 21:00

Evening all,

Shopped online at next. Not much for kids but got myself some new jeans with cuffed bottoms and dh a new top.

5inthebed · 27/03/2010 21:03

Paid £60 delivery, and MN I bought off said it should be here by 3pm today. Not sure how much it was delivery.

basl · 27/03/2010 21:08

Well i use the elite for nursery run which is very poor pavements and i just hate bumping along with a stroller. I have tried the bjcm but even it gets stuck in some of the brocken pavements or it would be great. It is just one of those things that gets on my nerves is wheels rattling along.
The elite is amazing and is like pushing a single bed lol and super light however. The four times in the day i do the nursery run daniel was always in the pram and slept on the first return for a good two hours. Now he walks all the way to nursery and sometimes naps on the way back. I leave it till the last min to collect olivia as the cloakroom too conjested so i shove him in the elite and power walk. He then walks home with his new shark backpack which he loves. The elite is stored in my porch and is a nightmare to get out my front door. I have to remove the wheel. He hates the hood now unless asleep and always pulling himself forward to look out. He has also taken a strong dislike to rain covers.
Sooooo only used then as i do love the bjcm esp now in new funky colours. So would the nipper do him till he is bigger?
Over to you my lovely ladies.

nicolamumof3 · 27/03/2010 21:19

he sounds sooooo much like luka lol don't you remember my hunt for a blooming waterproof footmuff as the little angel wouldn't have raincover on??!

well these days i don't even bother trying... waterproof dungies all the way now. Niper would last you til he's out of buggies tate fits in and he's 4yr 3m. And its still easy to push.

nicolamumof3 · 27/03/2010 21:20

sat delivery is usually £20ish i think 5in? so be amazed if it was for today? who was delivering dhl?

basl your bjcm in blue is to die for!

basl · 27/03/2010 21:29

I just had a look at the elite and it is so lovley but i just think maybe too much iykwm. My friend who is so worse than me pushchair addict and a childminder so always with the excuses keeps say oh nooo don't sell it the nippe is so much more basic, but i think that is whats required. I just need to get to nursery and back. I saw a black one on ebay with the carry bag and footmuff and raincover for £200 something but i am sure the same lady is advertising on pre loved £150 ono. I could use the jane silver footmuff and i am waiting on sunkie liner in the zoo oligy and hoopla dot fabric she has ordered in which is green, bluey, grey and white circles and a cuddle fleece tie on blanket for the elite but could have these for a black nipper.
How's your cold nic have you ever had a hot toddie thingme?
5in you sound just as confused as me regarding prams.
Geek i read you are having a new pram. It looks lovely but i am always a fan of green[gring]

basl · 27/03/2010 21:33

oh and the bjcm nic. You would not believe the amount of people who stop me and ask where i got it and the footmuff and then i get all because they look at me like i am off my head. So you had someone make the footmuff and you ordered new hood and seat unit for the nearly new black one you had??? Ah right then and then they kind of shake their head in disbelief. I love it now and dh does too. Olivia even said coming home from nursery " mum you should keep this one for ever and ever i love it so much and just send the big one back".

5inthebed · 27/03/2010 22:08

Nicola, you still after a Nipper travel bag? PLO have them for £12.95. Not sure if that is a good price or not.

Did you get the basket for under the nipper as well?

maxybrown · 27/03/2010 23:17

Finally got my little man to sleep so just catching up! He was putting his hands over both ears tonight saying ow ow. So I gave in and have given him nurofen

Basl, I loved Nipper, though preferred my fixed wheel one as you know. I am keeping opinions to myself as it will only confuse matters - so Nippers are fabby That's all I'm saying

Sold the elite then 5in? Do you think it will be here (the tray I mean now) before I go away on wed?

Basl you could always sell your Elite acces to me

OP posts:
basl · 27/03/2010 23:28

Aww maxy don't say that i want your opinion. I could not possibly be anymore confused than i am.
I was just looking at the nipper ltd edition with the green and it would go with my liner i have ordered. If you google Hoopla dot lagoon you will see the fabric and the zoo oligy on the otherside.
Now selling you the acc is a fair point but are they not a bit wacky for your elite?
Go on maxy tell me what you think. Now we don't know it the nipper we tried was a bit dodgy like the woman that sold me it.

basl · 27/03/2010 23:29

Sorry meant to say has james a doc appointment? He is having a terrible time. When do you go on hols?

maxybrown · 27/03/2010 23:38

Oh I was just thinking about that womwan! And I got all cross for you again!!

I want a liner in zoo.....is it the blues and green one? Ooh i quite like that hoopla......whacky.....are you trying to suggest I am dull and boring?

I think if you must know, that the fixed wheel had better suspension than the 360, had I never had the fixed wheel then 360 would be fab - if that makes sense? Now I have had the Elite though, I wouldn't even want my fixed wheel Nipper.......well maybe, only because I loved that lol. But I personally wouldn't want Nipper after having Elite - but Elite is my main pushchair, I like a big pram and can't drive so don't have to worry about keep picking it up. It is just so luxurious I think. But each to their own like and it is just a matter of personal opinion after all! really you need them both togther ideally to have a play! Like you gave me the chance to do that with both Nippers (wonderful person that you are)

Oh and I had parent tray for my Nipper - can you get them for 360?

So there, now,

Yes James at docs at 10.20 Mon and at least DH can take us. I booked it online this morning fortunately. We go away Wed all being well.

OP posts:
basl · 27/03/2010 23:49

Thankyou my dear that makes complete sence and yes that makes me angry thinking about that woman as well.
I don't know what that funny dot means. am i being told off it's a bit scary lol.
I do love the elite and i did ask dh if would consider extending my porch to accomadate but he told me to *** and just go and buy a new buggy that fits. That was when i first bought it and i knocked a huge chunk out of the door with the wheel.
Now maxy you are anything but dull or boring considering all the items of clothes i have bought from you being very bright and colourfull i just meant the elite is beige is it not and did not know if this would go?[bit of cake face] oh i am getting tired now and acting stupid again. x
