Hi everyone - now I understood what you meant Dunoon! I hadn't looked at the amount of messages!!

Basl - I can count on one hand how many dresses I have owned/worn in my lifetime, so doubtful Though I do still have one!! Maybe I should make it my aim to get in it? I must look for a picture of myself in it as it was bought for my friends wedding.

Anyway, you were going jogging!! Much more impressive than me - I dod it in my front room - which, if you could have seen me was fair enogh - my tummy was boinging up and down and my knickers falling down - attractive and then i needed a wee

ill wait to see what others think?

Hope Tate picks up soon.

basl · 27/03/2010 10:53

Morning Nic, never long before another bug arrives. The cold type of bug i mean not the pushcair type .
Daniel has a birthday party to go to and then Olivia has one. Dh working so all done on foot so i will be sweating by the time i have chased about after daniel then getting Olivia to hers on time.
They both look lovley with their party gear on. Olivia sequined up and daniel looking super cute with little shirt on and cords. He is running about jumping and then looking down at his self admiring him self. He shouts Peppa Pig now.
Have a nice weekend everyone!!

Right girls, if Callisto doesn't turn up by today, do I order a purple Triumph, and then use that as a holiday buggy? So Callisto would be to use at mums. cdrive is a bit big to use as a holiday buggy, but Triumph is quite long compared to a Zia. Decisions.

It doesn't help that I love purple either, lol. I was quite happy to use the Citisport at mums (thought she'd gotten rid of it), but it's not been used for 3 years and i'm worried about it being manky and mouldy. It's been stored in a shed you see.

Really I ought to ask mum to get it out and have a look at it today if she can get it. Last time I saw it, it was at the back of my brothers shed he has gym equipment in, lol.

BexieID · 27/03/2010 13:38

I bet if I went for girls things in Next sale there would be bugger all, lol. Shame it wasn't next week as down at my mums, or is it going to still be on next week?

BexieID · 27/03/2010 13:39

I did get a Next bargain in charity shop in the week. BN girls coat in 12-18 months for £2!

GeekOfTheWeek · 27/03/2010 14:26

Quick girls help me make a decision! The bee with black and red hood is out of stock. Shall I wait until it is back in stock or shall I preorder the khaki one?

Help

GeekOfTheWeek · 27/03/2010 14:43

Too late!

Rang jl at trafford centre and they have pre ordered me the black one with extra red hood. Got it for 299 even if the price goes up again. Bargain

Did anyone get anything in the next or debenhams sale? I'm gonna have a look now.

5inthebed · 27/03/2010 15:08

I wish DS3 wasn't too big for a Bee. Wish I'd gotten one earlier for him. Oh well. Bargain there Geek!

Busy making some easter muffins with the kids, strange how I cook more now when I'm dieting, even though I'll not be eating any of it.

nicolamumof3 · 27/03/2010 15:43

geek i like the black/red good buy!

i feel really awful really yuck. typical is dh is off and away to stag do. going to try and get out as i need bread/milk all the usual so will have a wonder into town..may perk me up.

bexie i wouldn't personally use a triumph for such a young baby no suspension on weels no leg rest seat v.unpadded. Next sale is only on this weekend btw.

5inthebed · 27/03/2010 15:57

Nicola, I've felt rotton for a few days now. Not nice.

basl · 27/03/2010 15:57

Afternoon, back from party and Olivia has a little friend back with her so she is all pleased with herself.
I have another pushchair dilema I think i may sell my bjce but dh and maxy thinks i would regret it. Daniel is walking so much so the school run is not such a bid deal. He does not sleep now in the pushchair as much now on the school run. Olivia will start school in Aug and just at end of my road so the big long walks will be no more until daniel goes to nursery when he is 3 and by then will walk.
The point i am trying to make is for as much i love it tis huge and i really struggle to get it out my front door and just seems like such a waste as i do like using the bjcm alot now to the shops etc so the elite is only for the shcool run. I was thinking about a nipper again for the air tyres and it fits no probs for my door. I know when daniel is bigger longer and heavier the elite would be great but i just don't know.
What do you think?

basl · 27/03/2010 15:58

Nic sorry to here you feels unwell still a least you managed the next sale just shows you what we can do when we have to.

5inthebed · 27/03/2010 16:01

Basl, I think I'm going to get a nipper if I sell the BJCE

basl · 27/03/2010 16:09

5in did you not have a red nipper? with the hole in the hood or am i going mad. I have to say i do really like the bjcm again and daniel likes sitting in it because he can see better i think. He hates when i put the hood down and always puts it back so i no longer require the fabby hood on the elite. I am really not sure

lecohen · 27/03/2010 16:13

Hi all,

How are you? I have been away from the PS for a while but please may I come back? :-)

I recently saw someone with a black Jane nomad (I think pro) - It was so nice with the all black chassis...I have decided that I fancy trying one...any reviews? Better still any for sale or swaps?

maxybrown · 27/03/2010 16:21

Afternoon all. I'm shattered. James is awful again today so whinge whinge whinge. I know I sound very unsympathetic but I am seriously sleep deprived now! he was awake in the night holding his ear and saying ow and winces whenever he coughs so got him appt again for Monday, fingers crossed.

Basl, sell it then I can't get it through my Mum's door either but I can do it without anyone noticing now

James loves the hood, like a little cave I think!

Hope you improve Nic, DH still rough and can't shift cough but it has't affected him as badly as James. It is like we have a different child at times, he looks so sad and miserable. He must have looked bad as DH bought him a toy - the ELC robot, though it was a half price bargain

basl · 27/03/2010 16:23

Hi lecohen, i had the Jane nomad and i really liked it. I bought mine second hand and it had a dodgy wheel so i got rid. The only other problem was that the strap would not ajust at very far down on the pushchair and daniel just kept sliding down but that was an older version of the nomad.

lecohen · 27/03/2010 16:28

thanks basl x

I really want a new pushchair - it has been too long! lol

Getting the Bug Frog curbed me for a while but I just am too fussy to use it as hate it getting dirty so i only use on bright days for walks and it has a beautiful space under my open staircase .

It has some custom covers and is like a work of art to me lol
