why are men so thick lol, The light on the fishtank we have had broke hubby had a look and said it would need replacing as knackered.

well as they are so expensive ive just had it off and descaled the bulbs and connectors ect plugged it in it worked and switched its self off. i noticed one of the bulbs looked a bit iffy so just put the spare bulb in and guess what its working thats just saved us a good £70 if not more so im really chuffed with my self lol

sal1309 · 05/03/2010 11:42

lilly pie meant to say hope you feel better soon. glad your dp is a bit better

basl · 05/03/2010 16:31

Hiya everyone, Diva i will be your jogging partner but we would have to leave at 6.30 in morning are you up for that then? I could chat to you on the phone will you are jogging round.Hee Heee shame you don't live near hear we have fabby shops in Edinburgh (come on comfy move over here) We have a huge john lewis and an amazing department store only in scotland called Jenners which has all your designer gear you girls know all about. Jogging is great i did the couch to 5k and i could hardly walk for 10mins at the beginning and can now easily run a good 30min to 45 in the morning. It is pitch black and been like something out of a sherlock holmes film some mornings but i have big sister to fend off any undesirables.
Maxy have sent you some emails and nic just checking sizing for the hungry croc t/shirt and then let you know.
Olivia slept all day after toddlers for daniel and she has not eaten a thing. Worried about her but know sleep is the best thing when you are unwell. She is drinking loads but burning up.

5inthebed · 05/03/2010 16:35

Spitfire is lovely Maxy.

I almost bought that black nipper off boards, but only got back to woman this morning, and she had already sold it . Went to bed with a migraine last night. Gutted. Would have been ideal.

nicolamumof3 · 05/03/2010 16:41

afternoon all. mnet been down? tried to get on at lunchtime?

spitfire looks fab maxy ds looks all grown up in there

basl · 05/03/2010 16:43

5in, is that you done with the bjcm now, will the nipper be for in your car buggy?
Maxy i do think this pic of ds says it all he looks like my kids do when i make them have a pic in the buggy then his little smile on the second one bless him.

nicolamumof3 · 05/03/2010 16:44

also meant to say basl how high is olivia's temp? if not responding to calpol/nurofen and she's had it over 24hrs i'd take her get checked? could be sign of some infection?

oh got myself (yes meeeeee!) some grey jersey converse today they are lovely can give my uggs a rest now!!

basl · 05/03/2010 16:45

oh 5in i meant to say Daniel can get his self out of the bjcm. The clip is so flmsy, i would have thought all the new ones had the new clip? He slips the straps off then unclips him self.

nicolamumof3 · 05/03/2010 16:48

omg nightmare i've been there basl thats why i love mac harness.

basl · 05/03/2010 16:49

Converse are lovley, good for you nic. She is responding well to calpol but i think because she was up all night she is exhausted. I just tried to wake her and she is like a zombie but tells me she is ok honestly mum i am just so thirsty. Going to see how she gets on and in a while and see if she will eat. She is so lovely to her little brother as he was screaming for her so she got out of bed in a daze and played with him for all of a few seconds and then just collapsed again on the bed. Thanks for advice nic x

nicolamumof3 · 05/03/2010 16:53

have you looked down her throat? wonder if its tonsilitis? does her throat hurt? that causes extreme exhaustion and temp? poor love

now i really really want some yellow cons for luka size 8...can't find any online??

Divatheshopaholic · 05/03/2010 16:58

5inthebed · 05/03/2010 17:07

YEah Basl, I think I want an air tyred pram now, as ds3 a chunky monkey. Not in any great hurry to get one, might just save and get a brand new one. Much prefer new ones. Glad Olivia is responding to calpol.

maxybrown · 05/03/2010 17:30

Hello all!

Well I am shattered, been out most of the day looking for a pressie for my freind's Lo who is 2 tomorrow, didn't get anything

The clips on my Elite are quite hard to undo, can't see James managing it......oh you said mini sorry. 5in I don't ever mind checking that shop local to me for a BJCE, mine was much cheaper than anywhere else.

Ooh Diva how exciting for you!!

How funny Nicola, I ordered myself (ooh) some cons from vertbaudet.......grey ones I did order them last week though

I struggled to find the yellow on line, even office don't have them on line but have def got them in store here, in both boots and double tongue lo's.

Basl, just emailing you!

Oh and I want a childs torch please for my friends DS, nothing with characters etc, something nice and chunky so get searching!! DS has one from ELC but it was my nephews and is from about 8 years ago

OP posts:
basl · 05/03/2010 17:54

james' is like this one

OP posts:
basl · 05/03/2010 18:27

sounds silly but what about B&Q Olivia used to be into torches big time and we got loads from there.

nicolamumof3 · 05/03/2010 18:28

no, no work for me...but am considering thinking about the childminding thing again..think i could be missing a trick as we live in commuters-ville and are literally one min from the station so convenient working parents and also will be able to do school picks/drops when tate starts??

basl · 05/03/2010 19:12

Nic thats what my sister does. She was a medical researcher and earned a fortune but missed the kids too much. She loves it and does really well. Lots of new double buggy possibilities

nicolamumof3 · 05/03/2010 19:47

mmmh no thanks!! i think i could only have one more littlie esp if i was going to go for dc4.

"dh said today we shouldn't sell that toddler bed...not if we're having another baby"
