hello maxy we are here! Terry off to football with tom and Tate and im taking luka window shopping.

janx · 13/03/2010 07:41

Hi Maxy - I am up - dp gone back to bed as he was up at 5 with ds. Had a full on day yesterday- went to docs after my palpatations and he checked me over and said he thought I was ok but still wanted me to have further test ...so I have fasting blood tests next week and then I have to go and have an ecg and a 24hr heart monitor fitted and keep a record of what is going on!!! He said to me ...are you worried about it - yes I am now!
Then later on I pick up dd and her friend from sch- we have just started this reciprical arrangment where I drop her off at 8 one morning at her friends and they take her to school. Anyway we get back at 5 from the library - ds throws up and I am expecting friends mum to come any minute - she calls at 5.15 - saying oh Lucy would really like to stay to tea at yours! - what a cheek - so I replied that I was really sorry but my son has just thrown up and i had my hands full. She finally turns up at 5.30

maxybrown · 13/03/2010 07:50

The bloody cheek jan!!

Jan, all those tests, my Mum had them all, those exact same tests, done less than 12 months ago and they found nothing whatsoever. She was however stressed at the time, adn now that has all blown over, she is fine. She is not a person to worry or be stressed generally either and prob didn't realise she was stressed tbh. As we said, stress can do funny things to your body without even realising it!

I was just looking at old pictures of DS and one if us togther when he was very tiny and I look about 10 years younger wonder why I look like such an old hag now, when I get more sleep than I did then? It must have been the wonders of not long since giving birth and bfeeding.......maybe.

nicolamumof3 · 13/03/2010 08:00

that is soooo cheeky! we had similar last night my friend called and said oh can Jake come back with Tom after school just for 40mins? by 4.30 no one arrived to collect and im starting to make boys tea. then the grandad arrved saying oh im early shall i come back i used the old 'oh we're just going out actually so better take him now' trick. Some people eh?

Hope the tests are all Janx sure they will be but its stressful in itself isn't it? You're life must be so busy with working, running home and dc's. Any chance of a break at all?

Oh and maxy i know what you mean about aging. I looked positively vibrant when i met dh long blonde hair size 10 glowing!! not so now 5yrs down the line they wear you out thats for sure!!

maxybrown · 13/03/2010 08:06

It's bloody depressing isn't it!

Hey i just discovered a funny little thing (ok not that interesting) I am sat trying to package all my parcels up and was trying to find your address Nicola.......I was thinking oh it's a boys name what is it now....so i was typing into google maps, no luck blah blah (anyway have it now) but then i double clicked on something and it brought pictures up, really really clear like i am stood outside!! So I put our address in and there is our camper on the drive, it looks like I could knock on the door! Much clearer than google earth. tis really weird! Talk about big brother!! I didn't realise everything was that clear on it!! Our SOLD sign is still up so muct have been taken not long after we moved in

Can I just say, I am not stalking anyone, I am more freaked out about the detailedness of my own house

BexieID · 13/03/2010 08:21

There was a thread on pram board yesterday about Google street, very good. It must have been done around easter last year up here as shops have come and gone on the High St and the Tesco I work in had Easter signs up (and 3 of my work chums having a ciggie!). Oh, and PIL house has been painted white since. DP says they go round in a google van with loads of camera in it.

BexieID · 13/03/2010 08:23

I'm only up as just fed Erin, have sore full boobs (hope breastpump comes soon) and was hoping someone had mailed me their address so I can goto PO as it opens at 8:30 and is just downstairs.

janx · 13/03/2010 08:28

Thanks - not sure what I am going to do with ds at the hospital - dare not tell my mum I am going as she will get all worried. I really don't want to go on a work day as my patronising cow of a manager will be all nosey about it. Dp is teaching most of March out of London, so he can't help
Not sure what to do about this arrangment with dd and friend now. They only look after her for an hour and I think it should be like for like imo

nicolamumof3 · 13/03/2010 08:30

yes i looked mine up yesterday is weird isn't!!

just packed jojo top for you..i may be going to GAP this morning maxy...have emailed you!

maxybrown · 13/03/2010 08:48

ooh!! Have replied

Jan they will have to uderstand at hospital. Although may he possibly be in nursery when you go? Just to give you once less thing to worry about?

Divatheshopaholic · 13/03/2010 12:55

hi all, been busy all morning.
maxy i was definately snoring at 7 o`clock this morning, lol
i showed dh google street view and he actually zoomed and pointed out im looking through window
i actually remember funny looking WV polo with some kind of 4 camera pointing out driving up and down the road last summer

carrielou2007 · 13/03/2010 13:16

Afternoon

Jan your work would just have to lump it, the stress of trying to get it all sorted adds the stress in the first place. V selfish friend?

Looked on that street thing, we have just had all the pavements re-done so not too long ago.

Got my switch, very nice, pleased with it and a good price, got buyer for the streety that I haven't yet used outside so just normal pliko now to sell.

Custom bugaboo hood and yummy mummy bag still not here and will miss the post on monday and looks like just bought another bugaboo custom hood.

Right, dd has just gone off with her dad so ds and I are out for a walk as it is a gorgous day

nicolamumof3 · 13/03/2010 14:27

does he take them both carrielou so you can have a break?

just made some choc muffins mil and fil will be impressed when they arrive in a minute

janx · 13/03/2010 14:31

Thanks carrie - basically I can go to the appt on a tues or a thurs - work on tuesdays and just my manager knowing anything about my life. She says the most inappropriate things to me anyway - like making a comment about my family being sick all the time (we had a spout of everyone getting ill before christmas- pretty much like all families did!) I told her at that time that my family was no more unhealthy than anyone else....Am going to see if ds' nursery will take him for an extra day so I can go on a thursday - that way no-one at work will be any wiser and I won't have to wear the heart monitor at work!

carrielou2007 · 13/03/2010 16:04

That's rough though if you have to pay for another nursery session so you can go to hospital (but know what you mean I'd prob do the same) let me guess, your boss does not have kids! I was off when dd ended up in hospital (first time off sick) and my bos made a comment to me when the guy who covered me for one day had already been off sick himself 4 times in 3 months and nothing said to him

Mnn choc muffins I'm sure they would fit in a jiffy bag to me .

Dc's dad rarely takes them a)I don't trust him after he wanted to pick up dd from cm once and promised he would walk to get her as car seat in my car and he hid his car around the corner and toldcm he had walked. So he lied to both of us. b) not doing well yet expressing so he can't have ds.

I told him I'd 'sold' the streety and he did say but you told me you bought that as it will fit in my car (convertable) and now I'm thinking bum maybe I should keep it...

Right, trying a chicken and leek bake so off to scratch my head for a recipe (and end up making spag bol if it all goes horribly wrong!!)

nicolamumof3 · 13/03/2010 16:44

oooh i love leeks. Carrie it must be incredibly hard i do understand i left ds1's dad when he was only 15m old and he didn't have a clue what he ate, wore, slept in what nappies he had. and he would take him a whole w/end he soon learnt tho was good in the end.

choc muffins were mmmmmh!

basl · 13/03/2010 17:26

Janx sorry to hear your not feeling so good. My mum suffers the same thing and she was producing too much acid due to swallowing too much due to anxiety. Sound weird but stress does have stange ways of rearing it's ugly head.
Just back from a superb mexican meal with my parents and older sister. It's my dads birthday today and mothersday tomorrow so we took them both out and it was lovley. Although without fail my mum ends up in tears after a few glasses of wine as she thinks about my other sister. Such a lovley day to celebrate but for some it does tug the heart strings. My little nephews dread mothers day and sure they are glad when it is all over.
Olivia had sleepover at grans last night with her big cousin and had the time of her life. My mum said they were dancing and singing to Hannah Montanna and lots of arts and crafts, make up and giggling till late. She is fast asleep in the bjce next to me here while dh is off to collect some friends that are coming over tonight. Hope you all have a great mothersdayxxx

nicolamumof3 · 13/03/2010 17:32

oh basl a bittersweet day then? hugs to you hunnie and those lovely nephews of yours. Have a lovely day tomorrow xx
