Good morning every one,I am just taking a break from packing and cleaning as I am off to Oz in the morning

I have decided to take MB as well as quest with me much to everyone's amusement.
It makes perfect sense to me though.Quest for airport and my Mums mammoth shopping trips at the Hyperdome and MB for country walks and beach ect.Chris and my Dad walk for miles and although he said he will carry Isobel if she gets tired I know it will be a nightmare, and I am not having my lovely quest ruined on bushwalks!!

Better get on I have last minute posting and a rose bush to plant before lunch, the I am going to see Saiya,my granddaughter as it is her second birthday (Isobel's 3rd birthday tomorrow!)and I still have to get dollars and go shopping for a drawing book and some sheets of stickers to entertain Issy on the flight(for 10 mins)

Take care of yourself lovely lady's,back in a month xxx

basl · 10/03/2010 09:49

Lillypie hope you have a wonderful time with your family and your gorgous dd has a lovely birthday (will you be there by then??) Proper pramaholic taking 2 buggies, v sensible I agree

Basl hope dd is feeling better soon. Ds did a huge burpy sick down me this morning over my shoulder, all down my arm and leg and in my just finished straightened hair! He's a greedy boy and can't stop when he is full of booby milk. I'm embarassed to say I sponged the milk out of my hair and thought 'never mind'

Sal I'm sure you need to hoover your bedroom before you do anything else

maxybrown · 10/03/2010 10:59

OP posts:
Divatheshopaholic · 10/03/2010 11:10

Lillypie, have s good time. Mb and quest sounds perfect for pramaholic.
OFA, i have dd who will be 5 in april.Menorca sounds lovely, too|We will be in North Wales for 5 weeks in the caravan.
Maxy, lodgers are expensive, do you use it on BJ? I would sell it now or dnt sell it as price will go down during warm weather.

5inthebed · 10/03/2010 11:10

Have a lovely time in Oz Lilypie.

Maxy, keep it and sell in next winter, as it's nearly spring and people not wanting footmuffs as much now.

nicolamumof3 · 10/03/2010 11:15

i just sold my two only footmuffs. I think people still use them tbh in this country prob through til a bout may put an ad up see if any interest? worth testing the water?

5inthebed · 10/03/2010 11:16

I've just put my buggysnuggle on the boards. DS will eb too big for it come next winter, so will just use a blanket for him.

I'm going to be an aunty again. My sister has just announced she is pregnant

maxybrown · 10/03/2010 11:23

Yeah I might do, they are still selling on ebay. Will pop on here first, esp if you have a newborn, would be lovely!

Divatheshopaholic · 10/03/2010 11:24

aw, thats nice news 5in.
i dont have nieces and nephews, my poor sister been trying for years. i do feel bad., i have two and sometimes i moan how hard is motherhood

carrielou2007 · 10/03/2010 11:26

I would sell it now Maxy to get best price and they do sell very well. I still use fotmuffs still in the spring as I do so much walking, can be cold just sat in a buggy whilst I'm power walking and working up a sweat!

I've just bought a badly listed and local mamas and papas black waterpfroof outer, sheepskin inner witht he clips to open up a bit like a lodger - for 1.70 pick it up tomorrow. Couldn't resist, they were much £££££'s from m and p

maxybrown · 10/03/2010 11:29

Hmmmm, maybe have put a testing water on here first. DS still very happy in it, and am thinking when we go away in the caravan and go off walking.........I have the JoJo blanket and cozyosko blanket but he looks so cosy in lodger want a bigger one baby is growing up!!

OP posts:
maxybrown · 10/03/2010 11:29

Oh and spitfire footmuff, but that belongs on the spitfire and he just fits in that.

OP posts:
5inthebed · 10/03/2010 11:30

I think I know the one you mean Carrie, I had one with my Pliko for DS2. Can't remember the material though.

My sister has a 5 year old girl (devil child), but has been trying for a baby for ages. She had a miscarriage abut this time last year, so is tentively telling people. She is about 10 weeks but feels better about this pregnancy. Really tired, loads of morning sickness, sore boobs, can only be a good thing right?

carrielou2007 · 10/03/2010 11:34

What lovely news fingers crossed/sticky beans vibes.

I'm so lucky with two, my mum and dad were married for 16 years before my sister arrived after a lot of miscarriages and heartache.

I never thought I would ever be a mum with ex dp being so old and never wanting more children. Much as I moan about him he did at least do two wonderful things for me

nicolamumof3 · 10/03/2010 11:35

yes it is 5in she's made 10 weeks which is great news.

maxy keep it for now sell next winter?

oh and 5in tate still just fits in buggysnuggle now at 4yr luka easily fits at 2.5yr wouldn't ds3?

maxybrown · 10/03/2010 11:37

Hmm, might do going to go out in a min to morrisons and put him in it in elite, then hoping he goes to sleep

OP posts:
5inthebed · 10/03/2010 11:38

His feet are already at the bottom of this one . He is a tall boy, and I would think by September he will be in 2-3 clothes at the rate he is growing.

If it doesn't sell, then no biggy. I'll just keep it, might flog it to a friend who doesn't believe in footmuffs. She has a 7 month old though, so we shall see what he is like hen he starts kicking blankets off.

nicolamumof3 · 10/03/2010 11:43

doesn't believe in footmuffs? i hated blankets unless they're in a pram. obv now have no choice with the lovely lukey

looking for lightweight 'cool' jacket for tom for spring. Shopping for pre-teens is a bloody nightmare i tell you!!

maxybrown · 10/03/2010 11:44

I think it depends which pushchairs they are on and how much is taken up with the pushchair, if that makes sense? James was starting to outgrow his, but would be fine on a mac.
