Has anyone had one of these? Would you recommend it? Are they heavy?

I need a single pushchair that works well with a buggy board but is easy to push one handed. Preferably rearfacing but it doesn't have to be.
I have a P&T for long days out but I keep that in DH's car so wanted something I could use for going to the village or on the bus.

I have a Quinny Buzz at the minute and I hate it!

Have been looking at the Mura, Infinity, Herbie or Skate so far. Are there any others out there which you would recommend?

Thanks

been out again with mine and still loving it! Bear in mind that the pram we usually use is a bebcar stylo at, now that is heavy! I really do like the mura- the hood isn't anywhere near her head (but she is stumpy ) we had an issue earlier with getting stuck behind the bumper bar (but she had, fleece babygro, jojo fleece snowsuit and then a padded waterproof suit on top, tis -9 on top of the hills here so we dressed appropriatly!) Easily sorted by sipping the bumper off and refitting it when she was strapped in. I handled admirably on a frosty slope and dd was loving 'driving'.

She would fit in the mura footmuff but i just don't like it- usually i buy matching everything but i don't like the fm or the bag for the flamingo slice- buggysnuggle (copycat one not an actual buggysnuggle) worked really well and the hole is only tiny and under the flap so can still use it on something else without noticing but as it is fleece i don't need to worry about the hole fraying! could take the bar off but i do like the extra security.

Is the Mura in two bits like the Hauck Infinty? How does the size compare?

MrsWillis · 07/01/2010 21:09

It is in two bits yes but I'm not sure about the size compared to an Infinity as I have never had one, sorry.

Is the mura a bucket seat?

Whenever I have tried an XLR I think they are lighter to push than the XT which is smaller. It must be to do with the suspension I think.

nicolamumof3 · 08/01/2010 14:56

thats right nappy even tho the xt has suspsension i've found my new style xlr a dream to push for a stroller its the best push ever i can push my 4yo in it..easy!

nappyaddict · 08/01/2010 16:28

Which version XLR did you have before was it 08?

nicolamumof3 · 08/01/2010 17:29

yeah i guess 08 as bought in Feb 09. Had the new style buckle.

nappyaddict · 08/01/2010 17:42

Which colour was it? I know the new 09 one comes in black/champagne, brown/pink, brown/blue, charcoal/orange and marsh green with the silver handle tips. Have you seen any of the new 10 colours? So far I've seen a navy one and a lovely purple one.

nicolamumof3 · 08/01/2010 17:50

yep i had choc/blue really nice. i prefer my black/champagne over the new colours tbh. i'd like a black frame xlr tho that would be lovely!!

nappyaddict · 08/01/2010 21:28

I really like the purple one but can't justify any new buggies now.

Reallytired · 11/01/2010 15:44

We have just bought one. It is great in the snow and nice being able to have dd rear facing.

It is quite heavy and bulky though. I found it quite hard to get through our front door.

MrsWillis · 11/01/2010 23:20

I am still undecided on what to buy. Leaning towards the Skate now but I would need to try them all out really.
