Oh yes, very good!

Knickers0nMaHead · 17/10/2009 22:29

Oh, and it wouldn't be used everyday. Just once or twice a week.

nicolamumof3 · 17/10/2009 22:33

The quest is easier in all honesty as its lighter, unless you are especially tall? i'd go for the quest it is so easy to push and deady easy to put up/down. perfect for buses i actually miss my quest...quite a bit!!

Knickers0nMaHead · 17/10/2009 22:39

Quest it is. 5ft4 so no, not tall. And I don't drive so would be perfect. Thanks!! Now gotta find a cheap one

nicolamumof3 · 17/10/2009 22:41

get a mod tho they are lovely i had the apples in grey/orange which was gorgeous

SpookyScattyKatty · 17/10/2009 22:43

Hmmm Nicola on the website it was saying 2 year olds could use it....

I don't like telling people what to buy but if they ask it's easier to give a few ideas so they don't waste money on things he won't use IYKWIM

nicolamumof3 · 17/10/2009 22:51

i usually do a wish list at amazon and elc to give people an idea SK

He may be fine on it, every 2yr old's abilities are v.different, this was the first time luka had been on one last w/end and he couldn't quite do it, but they are v.v.easy to use. TBH i would rather keep luka in pushchair anyway so would rather leave the scooter (own selfish reasons!) but once he sees tate on one he will go mad for it!! Tate whizzed off straight away, i think they are the best ones from what he's tried get him to have a go on one!

SpookyScattyKatty · 17/10/2009 23:00

That's a good idea. I want to be helpful but not pushy!

I think I'll borrow one and let him try.

pebbles79 · 17/10/2009 23:09

Will I love an XT Nicola? Definitely getting one next month as I think it's sadly time to move on to strollers .

nicolamumof3 · 18/10/2009 06:55

Morning ladies!

Pebbles i just adore my xt! i've had so many and keep coming back to them, its a good size seat, comfy handles, the black can be pimped to the max! easy to store, nice big wheels (for a stroller)I couldn't be without my air tyres tho for park, football etc but feel i've got perfect combo now.

5inthetomb · 18/10/2009 10:43

Morning

Bexie, Maclaren hasn't been in touch, despite you, me and someone else contating her. Fed up now. Can't believe I stood up for her

maxybrown · 18/10/2009 11:00

Morning!! oh pooh 5in

Anyone want a navy Gap tracksuit 18/24 immaculate as new, or Boden 12/18 boarding coat (generous though and vgc) before I list on boards?

Might have other bits too, need to rethink DS's sleepwear as sooooo chilly in his room Think a trip to sainsburys is in order for some more towelling sleepsuits

OP posts:
SpookyScattyKatty · 18/10/2009 11:00

Just been to Mass DS was actually reasonably behaved!

5in I feel so bad for you with the Maclaren thing. It's so totally wrong that you supported her and then she basically scammed you

5inthetomb · 18/10/2009 11:12

What is a boarding coat? Can I see pics please . I've got DS3 lots of fleecy sleepsuits, he looks so cute in them. Was going to get a few sleeping bags for him, but I think the suits are just the thing.

SK, it was only £22.50 that I paid, but its the principle. I feel like such an idiot sticking up for her.

maxybrown · 18/10/2009 11:14

I will do you some pics 5in, they are lovely coats! I'll email you some

OP posts:
SpookyScattyKatty · 18/10/2009 11:15

It's not the money at all, it's the fact you were the only one who really stuck up for her when everyone else started getting annoyed and she hasn't even bothered to tell you what's happening

I'd be fuming

5inthetomb · 18/10/2009 11:24

Thanks Maxy

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/10/2009 11:51

Can anyone just give me an update on Maclaren?
Sorry if it's already been done, I will be reading back in a mo.
I am baffled by what has gone on as she seemed entirely genuine, posted here for ages, bought and sold regularly and then things just fell apart.
Has more happened to her?
Otherwise there is no excuse for the continued silence and non payment.

Do XTs 2008 come in black, without the metal tipped handles?

5inthetomb · 18/10/2009 12:03

Dunoon, as far as I know, she is still having a few problems, but has been "seen" on facebook so she is online. I think I'm the only one who didn't receive either my stuff or a refun.

I think all the black XT's have tipped handles.

maxybrown · 18/10/2009 12:13

5in sent pics

OP posts:
SpookyScattyKatty · 18/10/2009 15:35

Just been in town and got the last of DS's Xmas prsents

Now just his birthday in January to sort out

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/10/2009 16:18

Ah ok.
Not keen on the tipped handles for some reason.
