Well believe me when I went to uni it was a shock!

I went to a VERY strict school, skirt well below knee 'Good Morning Mrs Pilkington' etc so TBH the amount you could get away with at uni was more the shock than boys

As for how to handle boys, yes I think I was very very naive, I'd not really been around boys since I was 11 so it did take a while to work them out as I was probs a lot more innnocent than if I'd been to a mixed school.

nicolamumof3 · 17/10/2009 16:45

Not really!! I had a lot of male friends anyone from Hayesbrook we all used to hang out together at weekends go to disco's etc. I think now the schools interact quite a bit too as well.

(oh and ooooh er mumof!!)

pebbles79 · 17/10/2009 16:56

Nicola, do you have a pic of your necklace, quite fancy having something made with all my kids initials on it too

nicolamumof3 · 17/10/2009 16:59

yes email me [email protected]

maxybrown · 17/10/2009 17:49

Afternoon/evening

Phew, what a day!

Mum got DS some baggies, they are fine, yay! Not too sure about those pockets those SK what size have you got as we got 18/24 and only have to turn them over 1cm, just. I must admit, I thought they were going to be much longer. The pockets are HUGE though

nicolamumof3 · 17/10/2009 17:54

i like them with the pockets makes them more like trousers than pj's!

i've had invite to boden party supposed to be 20pc off all you order?

maxybrown · 17/10/2009 17:59

Yes agree about the pockets for that reason. No complaints from DS though so somfy, that's the main thing!! Finally!!

Ooh lovely. I have heard of them, never been to one though! You going to go?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 17/10/2009 18:19

well i've emailed asking when/where as had the email from boden so we'll see. Don't really need more clothes tho with xmas looming!

i do like the boys hoodies tho with the matching lining to the baggies.

maxybrown · 17/10/2009 18:33

Oh yes they do that don't they if there's one locally to you. I remember some other MNetters talking about it. I love those too, would like to get one but reckon it would drown DS as starts from 2/3

nicolamumof3 · 17/10/2009 19:14

i can't decide what size baggies to get luka i really want some now! Tate has four pairs! luka hasn't any.

nicolamumof3 · 17/10/2009 19:22

i think i will have to succumb whats best boden code atm? pretty please

maxybrown · 17/10/2009 19:30

lol. Well I can get away with the kickers not turning them up at all in 18/24 but have done as best!! They are same size as baby 18/24 so imagine you will need age 3. I have a £10 off a £30 spend code and there is a 15% code off? What's best?

Actually, thinking about it, they are getting baggier the more they "settle" in !!

Does anyone have a Swimfin or a Mini Micro Scooter? People have started asking me about presents for DS and I'm thinking about these ones

5inthetomb · 17/10/2009 20:58

Evening ladies

I've been to a wedding in York yesterday, no kids, no DH, was fab . Got very drunk on expensive wine and champagne, have sore feet after dancing most of the night in 6 inch heels but had a fab fab time. Back to earth with a bump though. Came back to three whingey kids, a miserable DH and a house that looks like a bomb exploded. Not impressed! So have been stuffing my face with some yummy cheese and marmite bread that I bought from a little bakery in the Shambles.

Gutted that the BJCM's are back in stock . Oh well. Saw a blue bjcm in York, love the colour!

Knickers0nMaHead · 17/10/2009 21:25

Evening everyone.

I think I need a Mac. But not sure which one would suit me the bests. Can I have pros and cons on them all please?

Tiredmumofdjandbabies · 17/10/2009 21:42

5inthetomb you dirty stop out

nicolamumof3 · 17/10/2009 22:06

oh 5in how jealous am i!!

right in order..

SK mini micro scooter....im getting one for Tate for his 4th Bday. Luka could almost do it think i will save for his 3rd bday or he can have tates? so maybe a little young for second bday?

Knickers...as you know im huge mac fan if using everyday the xt is fab as is the quest my two total faves! the quest mod is v.funky and great as it reclines far enough for your DS to sleep but is light easy to push and store. i love maclarens big time which is why i've had them all and still come back to them for every child i've had.

Knickers0nMaHead · 17/10/2009 22:08

Is the quest ok for older toddlers too Nic? DD is 2.2.

BexieID · 17/10/2009 22:11

5in, has maclaren got in touch? I did message her via facebook.

My parents went home last night. Will have to wait to have a lay with P&T as tomorrow we are building up Toms new bed and the F1 is on

maxybrown · 17/10/2009 22:14

Nic did you get Boden code or do you need one?

OP posts:
pebbles79 · 17/10/2009 22:15

Have emailed you Nicola .

nicolamumof3 · 17/10/2009 22:20

Thanks pebbles have replied.

i got it but im dithering maxy, he will in all reality be in tates two pairs of 2-3's in a matter of weeks i need to STOP spending!

Knickers Tate went in quest absolutely fine at 3.5yrs and luka is same age as your dd he's 2.3yr and was fine, not big in the slightest. just depends how much you plan to use it if its every day then the xt is easier to push and i kinda like the handles better on it too. you can see them side by side in mothercare usually to compare.

Knickers0nMaHead · 17/10/2009 22:22

Ok, so, one last question (I promise) which is better to push one handed?
