maxybrown · 19/10/2009 21:40

5inthetomb · 19/10/2009 21:56

Your poor DS Basl . I hope his elbow doesn't cause him (and you) too much pain. He has the same name as my DS2 .

maxybrown · 19/10/2009 21:58

ooh thanks Basl.....I am really tired......just can't go to bed though. I tried to get Ds to go in my bed but he wanted to go in his own how things change eh....

OP posts:
basl · 19/10/2009 22:03

maxybrown · 19/10/2009 22:07

Ys I should. Not read for ages either........hmm I shall go and look

Hi. Basi I am glad your little boy got properly treated. How awful for both of you.
Maxi the xlr is very nice looking, I hanker after one but know it's probably too big and too expensive anyway.
The techno xt logos on mine are rubbing off. That happened to my last one too which is odd as I can't figure out what rubs there.
How do you think I would get on making and selling liners and matching shoulder pads?

maxybrown · 19/10/2009 22:16

I think you would do well Dunoon!! Def, go for it!!

OP posts:
basl · 19/10/2009 22:18

Thanks Flymetodunoon, I think making and selling liners is the way to go, the snunkie lady is always full.

nicolamumof3 · 19/10/2009 22:18

you need to get me to test them out first!!

then ebay i would say dunoon?

im trying to plan something special for DH for his 40th next month, not having much luck seeing as im on limited budget. Found great offer at spa hotel, but then you had to stay min of 2nites and can't afford that

maxybrown · 19/10/2009 22:26

ooh Nicola, it's hard isn't it? Tis my birthday on Saturday, we are having an Indian takeaway, mega treat and my fave! Not a "special" birthday though My sister will be 40 on Christmas eve this year....thought I'd throw that in for good measure!

OP posts:
5inthetomb · 19/10/2009 22:33

Basl, I really do want one. Will get one maybe in Jan. Have to spend any spare cash on christmas. Less than 10 weeks left

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/10/2009 22:34

Hmm. For DP's I organised a big family party.
It's really hard when in fact I am using money he gives me as housekeeping.
I am going to try and get DP an ipod for christmas but usually I find it difficult to come up with interesting presents.
Am encouraged by response to liners/pads idea.
Thanks
You never know I might actually get around to it eventually. Any general suggestions-universal liners? specific? [how to get measurements for different pushchairs?]etc

basl · 19/10/2009 22:42

ohhh just been reading more reviews on the luna mix and they are saying the back of the seat will not last for a toddler and very tippy. I just don't know. nic do you save tesco club card vouchers you do get some fab deals for overnight stay in some lovley hotels. My sister is taking her husband to Rome for his 40th and it is so reasonable they are very thrifty and managed a good price.

nicolamumof3 · 20/10/2009 06:56

morning all!

basl thats interesting, will look into that. I never found the seat tippy at all, and its a good size for toddlers.

5inthetomb · 20/10/2009 08:08

Basl, I had a Luna, an it was very tippy, even with just a little pram bag on the back.

maxybrown · 20/10/2009 08:09

Morning all!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 20/10/2009 08:29

but i think with Basl's older ds it won't tip? DS3 was v.small when you had one wasn't he 5in? Must be nearly his bday now can't believe it!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/10/2009 11:00

Wow quiet on here this am.
Just back form bottle bank and little sainsbury shoppping.
Seem to be a few swine flu cases around here atm.

basl · 20/10/2009 11:08

morning, no sleep last night. Don't know if it was the sore arm or teething but not a happy wee boy. I had my niece and nephew having a sleepover and i bet they wished they stayed at home as they were up with my dd since about 5am but they did have some fun as i let them have a cookie and milk just to soften the blow as they are little home birds and would find it a bit upseting when ds was screaming so badly. They could not wait to tell their mum that they were allowe cookies in the middle of the night.
Good news about the luna nic. Sin my ds is heavy and wonder if this would help. I am going for it as tried the bjcm again i don't know why but just did not like it the same.

maxybrown · 20/10/2009 11:11

Ooh how is he doing Basl? Poor little mite. I bet it will seem very strange to him
