Aww basl your pooir DS, hope his arm feels better soon.

It was my hubby's 40th this year.
He's not into parties etc so he went white water tubing
Like white water rafting but in a big rubber ring LOL! Crazy man.

maxybrown · 20/10/2009 11:46

Hey that sounds good HMG, I fancy that

He is so grumpy today and i don't know if it the lack of sleep or he could be teething but he seems alot happier to get on the move again now but it is horrible to watch as he keeps stumbling and puts the good arm down and it's like he knows not to. The cast doesn't seem to bother him till i try to dress or undress him but plenty of calpol and some nice lunch (early) and he is of to bed to catch up on some sleep. Going to try and find something to put on it to bath him tonight. My dd is walking about in a daze. She is so chicken hearted she cried when he came home from the hospital. maxy hope you managed a goodnights sleep and everyone feeling better today.

Secondary school admission application form submitted Eeeek!

nicolamumof3 · 20/10/2009 13:15

i must do ours too dunoon, how many choices did you put down?

pebbles79 · 20/10/2009 13:47

I found my Luna quite platicky, probably moreso than the BJCM , reminded me of a Graco actually - sorry.

nicolamumof3 · 20/10/2009 13:52

really pebbles?! i loved my luna and the luna mix is an even nicer chassis.

basl · 20/10/2009 14:03

oops that's interesting. Pebbles was it a luna mix or a luna. Are the wheels sort of rubber or are they hard plastic ? It is so funny how everyone has such a diff opinion. i suppose norma was spot on when she said what someone likes is not the same as the other. The bjcm clicks at the front i forgot that annoyed me. I am going to take my time decide. Love to here other peoples opinions. I still like the sound of a maclaren so have not ruled that out. This is not my main pushchair but i would like it to be substantioal. I just got the mamas and papas pulse and sold the next day. I felt the seat was too shallow and the wheels i did not like. This is going to be hard. I think i can ge a reconditioned? spelling one from ebay. I have used the lady before.

nicolamumof3 · 20/10/2009 14:17

i got mine ex display from m&p directly it was £75 without the hood so cost £125 with brand new hood and liner i seem to remember.

i just got my black universal maclaren footmuff really like it, better than the xt one, think is now decided want a brand new one!!

basl · 20/10/2009 14:32

Oh thats good news nic. A brand new universal one and is it showerproof one you were looking for.

nicolamumof3 · 20/10/2009 14:42

yes im looking for that AS WELL as the mac one!! i like to have at least two for each pushchair

pebbles79 · 20/10/2009 15:20

I just had the ordinary Luna and it was nice to push and I like the colours but I just didn't love it - kinda the same way I felt about the BJCM. My favourite stroller type pushchair has been my Moon Kiss so far but when I get my Maclaren next month that might change.

Everyone always has different opinions about things though and it's about finding what's best for you. I find sometimes they grow on you too, I really didn't rate my Skate at first but ended up really liking it (although as usual, didn't keep it ).

nicolamumof3 · 20/10/2009 15:46

you're right its all dependent on so many things. whats right for one isn't for another. i have never fancied a BJCM even tho everyone rates them. Hope you like XT i've always liked strollers tho.

SpookyScattyKatty · 20/10/2009 16:49

Well if everyone else is getting footmuffs I should get the wallaboo

Been swimming today and DS is really tired.

carrielou2007 · 20/10/2009 16:54

Afternoon all.

Basl so sorry to hear about ds elbow poor mite, at least being so small he won't remember any of it as soon as it's healed bless him.

Going to collect a pliko switch tomorrow, if I like it cityscape prammette will be going Bexie if you are still interested??

Very tempted though to get the zapp frame and adaptors on for sale board to plonk car seat on for early days in the car and I could fit thatand the switch in the car boot .

lillypie · 20/10/2009 17:01

Hi everyone

carrie still want volo, will email you towards the end of next week x

Basl I am sorry about your DS,hope you are all starting to feel better

carrielou2007 · 20/10/2009 17:13

It's here whenever you are ready Lillypie, it's sat next to the prammette in my spare room in the original box which I will try to adapt with another box to fit the prammette in if it goes!!

Miserable cold, wet and raining here, have just put the heating on.

Just bought another yummy mummy bag (the one I wanted in the first place!!) so now just have to sell the other two.

nicolamumof3 · 20/10/2009 18:05

evening all, its cold dark and wet here too, we have fire on. boys are fighting over connect four but at least it distracted them long enough for me to mop floors!!

SpookyScattyKatty · 20/10/2009 18:13

MIL just left so been tidying up after her!

Thinking of selling Kota the Triceratops and Mamas and Papas Ride on Thomas Train to make room for the train table and Pashley I feel my little army house is getting too full and needs to be a bit DS-ified!

nicolamumof3 · 20/10/2009 18:14

oh Tate would love the kota but we haven't room or funds!

SpookyScattyKatty · 20/10/2009 18:16

DS adores Kota too but it does take up a lot of room and part of me thinks it would be nice to get rid of it and put the Thomas table there instead poor DS, I'm a mean Mummmy but I hate clutter!

nicolamumof3 · 20/10/2009 18:18

we had huge clearout when we decorated last month got rid of loads of stuff and i plan to have another sort through during half term fell so much better now we aren't overrun with toys.

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/10/2009 18:20

Mmm fish pie for dinner.
Nicola I put down three choices in the end. Just couldn't come up with a fourth.

SpookyScattyKatty · 20/10/2009 18:21

Oh I want to do that! But I'm sooooo weak

nicolamumof3 · 20/10/2009 18:33

i only really have one to put down, there is only literally two schools he can physically go to in Tonbridge, so im putting those down, im not too worried as headmaster assured that there is enough places, apparently this year has the lowest birth rate (1998/9) for 10yrs!
