I'm gutted ds1 has broken one side of the foot rest on the pulse. It doesn't stay up now. Love my pulse.

Nicola, we live in Cumbria so a long way away from London. Gonna take us about 6 hours to get there. We are staying Monday - Thursday so we get 2 days in the park. Does it have an area where they kids can get wet?

nicolamumof3 · 02/08/2009 17:51

yes it does tho we didn't go there, you can take swimmers for them to change into if its a hot day, its just sort of showers and sprays and stuff i seem to remember?

Terry's got friends in Cumbria not so far from my inlaws in lancashire. i know the drive well.

claret1980 · 02/08/2009 17:54

Yeah all the windy roads we have and the hills! I'm in Barrow so near the animal park. It takes ages to get anywhere else though.

nicolamumof3 · 02/08/2009 17:55

not far, they are in Morecambe.

Deemented · 02/08/2009 18:16

I want a First Wheels City Twin pram. With a carry cot attachment.

Not much, really...

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/08/2009 18:56

I would like a final pushchair.
I would like to be at peace with pushchairs.

nicolamumof3 · 02/08/2009 18:58

I am at peace. i've 'come home' to my favourite!!!! some days i miss my nipper but luka is much happier in upright maclaren seat.

sweetkitty · 02/08/2009 18:59

I want a Maclaren XT in pink and chocolate

nicolamumof3 · 02/08/2009 19:00

XLR?

sweetkitty · 02/08/2009 19:08

Is it the XLR that is pink and chocolate don't want an XLR, why is life never simple?

All I want is an umbrella fold, good sized seat, decent harness, bumper bar, raincover that isn't the size of a circus tent, storage pockets and a decent sized basket, easy to put up and down, decent sized wheel, is it too much to ask (sob)

nicolamumof3 · 02/08/2009 19:20

well sounds like an XT but without bumper bar. personally i hate bumper bars as just a faff with toddlers. Does it have to be umbrella? as what about a BJCM?

XT's only come in grey or black. you can get techno classics secondhand in different colours?

GirlsAreLoud · 02/08/2009 19:23

Hello ladies, sorry I don't really belong here but you are all so knowledgeable I wondered if you could give me your opinion on the out n about nipper 360 for a toddler and newborn?

I'm also wondering hwo small it folds as would want it in the boot of a pOlo.

Deemented · 02/08/2009 19:30

SweetKitty - have you thought about an Obaby at all? Only thng it doesn't have is a bumper bar, but it's a great sturdy buggy, imo.

nicolamumof3 · 02/08/2009 19:46

Girls....i had a single nipper and LOVED it!!! was fab, unfortunately my then 22m old developed a hatred for the laid back seat and i had to go back to a maclaren. that is the only 'fault' i could find with it. Adored it so much considered getting a double myself even tho i'd sold my p&t and sworn my doubles days were over! they are amazingly light. lovely to push. Fabrics don't come off (easily) to wash and the laid back seat only negatives i could find to my single. huge hood. large seat, good fold.

buggyjo · 02/08/2009 19:55

hi, this is for claret,im a lerker and have been for ages,i read your goun to lego land and stopping of in asda, theres a tesco in dedworth(the other side of windsor)which is easyer than trying to get to adsa and its on your way to l.land.hth.

5inthebed · 02/08/2009 20:02

Nicola, I do have the box for the bjcm .

I'm thinking of getting a nipper instead of a mac quest now. Are they easy to fold?

nicolamumof3 · 02/08/2009 20:07

not as easy as a mac, deffo a two handed job so no good for bus. but once you've got the hang of it they're ok, i prob only ever folded mine 4 times in 3m!!

5inthebed · 02/08/2009 20:24

Well, since I'll not need to do it when DS2 starts reception in September, I was thinking of getting one. Will have to have a rethink.

Really, I must be mad to sell the BJCM, I really do love it. Maybe I'll just keep it

nicolamumof3 · 02/08/2009 20:47

i'd recommend nipper whole heartedly 5in if you do alot of walking its fab, so light, one of my all time faves

GirlsAreLoud · 02/08/2009 20:55

Thank you for that Nicola, I think I may give the nipper a go.

nicolamumof3 · 02/08/2009 21:00

i would, i would seriously consider one if i ever needed another double.

5inthebed · 02/08/2009 21:00

I'm thinking about the air tyres. I do loads of walking

I hate selling prams, makes me so tetchy!

nicolamumof3 · 02/08/2009 21:06

me too, had a result with the triumph as it went locally. im so glad im done with it now.the nipper glides along its so light you will be spoiled forever

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/08/2009 21:27

My Infinity is on ebay at £80 bin so if it goes it goes.
I can feel the XT slipping away at this rate. Nothing is selling!
So annoying.

basl · 02/08/2009 21:38

FlyMeToDunoon what clour is your jane energy and what condition is it. I am still on the battle about wanting another bjcm. Is it still on ebay? Oh and has anyone seen those icoo pluto strollers. Are Hauck a reliable make?
