Hi everyone!

We're making plans to research, test and review a new round of double buggies for 2020, so we'd love to hear which ones you'd recommend.

If you've used (and loved!) a particular product then please do tell us about it. This will help us to create a shortlist of double buggies to put to the test over the next few months so that we can recommend the best of the best to other parents.

Thank you!

Egg tandem stroller
Was great when my twins were babies.... however now they're older, I'm looking for a side by side buggy instead!

Love my bugaboo donkey - expensive but we walk miles with it, coped with the beach and very muddy walks and my friend had one which also covered many all-terrain miles and was then passed to another set of twins and is still going strong 7 yrs later!

Baby jogger city mini double. I love mine, only downside was when out of the carry cot the child can't parent face, but my dc are nosey buggers and would much rather watch the traffic than my ugly mug.

The hood is fantastic as it covers more than most but also has viewing windows, basket is a good size but everything has to be posted in the side. We walk for miles each day using it and so far haven't had any problems fitting anywhere. It's light and sturdy with enough space for my tall toddler to be comfortable, lies flat for sleeping and the seats aren't too shallow so the children feel protected.

Out n About Nipper!

ABC design zoom. German brand and unfortunately can't be bought in shops here but can be found on Amazon. Best purchase I ever made.

Hands down the new iCandy peach double. Ok so it might not be budget-friendly, but I love mine.

Mountain buggy nano duo
So lightweight and durable. Easy to put up and down and so compact when folded.
Survived a flight to and from Australia and still going strong with two hefty two year olds to contend with.

We did have the icandy peach blossom to begin with but found the lower seat was a bit of a tight squeeze after 10 months. The newer model might be different though.

I had twins and got sucked in by the Bugaboo donkey. Pain in the backside, sold it on fairly quickly for a BJCM, couldn't fault it it. Brilliant buggy. I believe they now do newborn carrycots which they didn't when I had mine.

Mountain buggy duet
Can’t believe after five children Using it and how hammered it’s been that it’s still going strong but it is!

Out and About Nipper 360

Lunafortheloveogod · 27/02/2020 14:17

Mountain buggy duet. It’s so much cheaper than the bloody bugaboos and actually looks nice with the carry cot, I don’t like the baby joggers just plonked on the seat look. It also parent faces with the kit which seems to be rare for a side by side under £1000. And the carrycot doubles as a shopping basket if you’re using it as a single.

The shopping basket thing won the race for me.

Fits everywhere I’ve taken it so far and in the boot of a focus.

Loved my joie aire when I had my twins.

DrSheldonCooperPHD · 27/02/2020 14:24

My bugaboo donkey is one of the best purchases I've ever made. Used for twins for 3 years and now in mono mode for DC3.
Also loved the out and about nipper 360 which my parents had.

Heismyopendoor · 27/02/2020 14:26

Out n about- incredible pushchair in so many ways

tdm1 · 27/02/2020 15:32

Combi we2 - very light and folds up very small

copperoliver · 27/02/2020 15:57

I am a childminder and have a thing about buggies Apart from the loads of buggies I had for my own children. I like the city jogger mini GT the mountain buggy or the abc adventure buggy that is very sturdy indeed and can be adapted to a triple. Or if you are a person who needs to get on and off the bus a lot the Phil and teds sport. ( best one of Phil and teds) others aren't so good in my opinion. X
Would be happy to help you do any testing if you need any help. X

Out n about is very good value robust pushchair, good size for older toddlers too, great for those like me that can't afford a mountain buggy.
