Lightweight strollers that have a carrycot option?

Can anyone tell me some strollers that have a carrycot option? I am looking for something that will be a good lightweight stroller but which I could also put a carrycot on for the newborn stage.

Extending handles would be a bonus as I am short and DH is tall.

I know the BJCM fits this bill but are there others? and are they any good...?

thanks

PS Tiggy is your June here yet? Smile

Diamond maybe try Peppermint, they do baby jogger and I reckon they'll have heard of it.

John Lewis sell baby jogger and the versa is online, they just don't seem to have any in store yet. When I asked about a month ago they said they'd have them mid-September, but they weren't in when I went last week and they thought they may be online only for now.

Just seems weird they don't have it in their shops.

Diamond7 · 03/10/2012 10:44

Tiggy - any news? Spoke to Twin stores and they have sent a few out.

Ladybugs are getting back to me about whether they will be stocking it.

Twins said I can return it if I don't take it outside and keep original packaging. Also realised the shop is only 30mins drive from my parents, so they could return it for me if I decide it's not worth the extra £200 compared to the Cruz.

Have they??? Ooh it might arrive today or tomorrow then ;)

Ihateparties · 03/10/2012 13:25

I WANT A JUNE

That is all. Even if I give myself a hernia tipping it up curbs....

Tiggywunkle · 03/10/2012 14:13

Lol have you finally cracked Ihateparties ;)

Tiggywunkle · 03/10/2012 14:13

No despatch e-mail BTW :(

Diamond7 · 03/10/2012 15:37

I think I've cracked too.

He said they'd sent a few so look out for reviews but not actually getting stock until end next week, so you might have not been a lucky one.

They are expecting to get 2 deliveries a month.

Which colour did you go with? I like the cream but not very practical. We're team yellow. Can I have blue with a girl? I like the blue too or maybe just black?

Easywalker are useless. No London supplier no uk distributor do not looking at getting one.

Diamond7 · 03/10/2012 15:39

Actually re read message. He said a few have gone out so look out for reviews. He didn't specifically say they'd sent them out.

oohlaalaa · 03/10/2012 19:21

I emailed Babylicious on the Wirral, and they're getting the June in stock next week. Most of their opening order is apparently already sold.

Tiggywunkle · 03/10/2012 20:34

Twinsstore are on the ball TBH and hopefully we thought they would arrive next week. Fingers crossed. I can't wait to see it - partly because it is so different.
I cant temember but i think i played safe with a black hood on order and a red liner..or vice Versa. I like the way you can mix and match the hoods and liners if you fancy a change.

Diamond7 · 05/10/2012 16:52

Just popped to JL again and they had the Versa. It is nice but quite heavy. Definitely a contender.

Why can anywhere be selling the cruz, versa and June?!

PushchairDad · 07/10/2012 22:51

Thought i'd throw a few others into the ring, Quinny buzz or Speedi with the dreami carrycot... Or Quinny Moodd with the Quinny foldable carrycot... Admittedly the Speedi and Moodd aren't the lightest. There's also the Jane Rider -(link), it's compatible with the Jane carrycots and carseats.

Natashamay1982 · 10/10/2012 10:15

Think it was mentioned already, but I have a Zia4+ and its really light, and comes with a carry cot which is easy to pop in and out. I'd recommend it!
