Ok so I am either gonna get:

Maxi Cosi Mura 3 or 4 - (dont care which!) quite expensive but a fair few second hand that I can afford

Britax Vigour 3+ - Cheap as chips all over the internet second hand and I like it!

Petite Star Aruba - I can buy this new as its not very expensive but it has crappy non air wheels so its a last choice really!

So... which one should I go for? I have to pick one coz Im watching loads on ebay and I dont know which one to really go for!

Anyone got a preference?

Well I'm all in favour of the Mura so theres it's first vote!

BikeRunSki · 09/04/2012 18:26

When I was thinking of a Mura a few years ago it was very, very heavy (and I am a strong hefty lass), so I'd avoid it unless it has got lighter.

WelshCat · 09/04/2012 18:27

oh no! conflicting opinions! is it heavier than the mothercare urban detour xtreme thingy?

i like the mura :(

Its light as a feather!! I push my 19 mo one handed and I'm a bit feeble. I have a silvercross 3d, chicco liteway and the mura and its the lightest to push.

I very much love my Mura need a life

WelshCat · 09/04/2012 18:32

ooh ok, i so want to believe that so i will! i found one in gumtree for £100 in my city but the woman has not replied to her emails! i want it! its blue... which is not my preffered colour but all the same its still nice!

OP posts:
oreocrumbs · 09/04/2012 18:33

Its nothing like that mothercare beast, really nice.

Anyway must go and bath the small child so

Mura

Mura

Mura

Mura

Mura.

Thats another 5 votes for the mura and i'll be back to check on your decision later Grin

Mura

oreocrumbs · 09/04/2012 18:35

I have the blue one (fast forward - very dark blue). I bought a sheepskin esq cosytoes liner and it look fab if i do say so myself Wink

WelshCat · 09/04/2012 18:36

ah, the one i have seen is 'atlantic slice' like in your face electric blue! but a sheepskin sounds lovely :)

OP posts:
sleepysox · 09/04/2012 18:42

I had a Mura 4 in Atlantic slice and also have had a Vigour 4.

The Mura is much heavier and harder to push, but the seat on the Mura was so comfy for DS and like the way he was snuggled and supported.

Not helping am I?

HoneyBunnyDragon · 09/04/2012 18:47

I'm voting for Vigour 3

I knew it was an awesome pushchair when it ploughed through nearly 2 foot of snow!

WelshCat · 09/04/2012 18:50

sleepysox, that is most unhelpful!

and there is a purple vigour 3 auction on ebay ending in 30 minutes, it only had one bid at £50 at the moment, im so torn! do i bid on it or do i wait and see if i can get a mura? aaaarrrrgghhh!

OP posts:
HoneyBunnyDragon · 09/04/2012 18:52

The seat on the britax + is much nicer than the vigour, its very comfy, like a big flat bed when they are napping.

WelshCat · 09/04/2012 18:54

i think im going to explode to be honest, it all well and good bidding on ebay but they dont all end at the same time! i do like the vigour, and its lovely purple colour, but i cant decide still! to bid or not to bid? i think i need a cup of tea!

OP posts:
HoneyBunnyDragon · 09/04/2012 18:58

Did you want the carry cot? your paying for something you don't need?

Also that will have air tyres if that's your preference and the + has foam, but they are excellent.

WelshCat · 09/04/2012 19:00

i dont want the carry cot no. but i dont mind paying like £70 for just the pushchair.
but i dunno, its too hard to decide!

OP posts:
SleepySuzy · 09/04/2012 19:01

Britax. Full stop.

HoneyBunnyDragon · 09/04/2012 19:03

this is why I like the +, I loved the way the foot rest extends up so they can stretch their legs comfortably

but if suzie were here she'd tell you she preferred the pneumatic tyres on the original Grin

I never bought a Mura, found it too heavy, preferred the Mutsy in comparison instead

WelshCat · 09/04/2012 19:03

serious? i have twenty minutes left to decide!

OP posts:
HoneyBunnyDragon · 09/04/2012 19:06

I'd leave the purple you'll have to find a load of space to store hit you don't need.

HoneyBunnyDragon · 09/04/2012 19:06

hit = shit

WelshCat · 09/04/2012 19:08

ok, im not bidding on it, its gone up way past £70 now anyway and i wasnt intending on paying that much, theeres hundreds of them online for less.

i guess ill wait and see if blue mura lady gets back to me!

OP posts:
HoneyBunnyDragon · 09/04/2012 19:09
Grin

have a look at the Mutsys while you're waiting Wink

WelshCat · 09/04/2012 19:10

i just saw one on google images its odd as hell!

OP posts:
HoneyBunnyDragon · 09/04/2012 19:14

they are lovely to push though, good walking push chairs.

WelshCat · 09/04/2012 19:15

i cant find a very clear picture of one, but i can kind of see some mental looking trike-like seat thing, whats that all about!
