Ok so I am either gonna get:

Maxi Cosi Mura 3 or 4 - (dont care which!) quite expensive but a fair few second hand that I can afford

Britax Vigour 3+ - Cheap as chips all over the internet second hand and I like it!

Petite Star Aruba - I can buy this new as its not very expensive but it has crappy non air wheels so its a last choice really!

So... which one should I go for? I have to pick one coz Im watching loads on ebay and I dont know which one to really go for!

Anyone got a preference?

hav e you thought about a baby jogger city mini? meets your criteria

thisisyesterday · 10/04/2012 14:22

if the mura doesn't fit the bill

WelshCat · 10/04/2012 18:25

ok, the mura just came!

it is big... lol, it fits through my doorways though and its nowhere near as long as the xtreme urban detour thing it replaced.

i put DS in it for a minute just before he went to be and he seemed to like it, especially the T bar thing.

im gonna clean the wheels and give it a wipe down then give myself a week with it, and if i love it ill keep it. if not ill defo get the vigour.

thisisyesterday i dont like the fabricy bit by the footrest on the baby jogger city mini, but it does have a nice hood! DS will not allow me to put the hood up though so the mura suits me as its small.

Yay for a decision. I hope you like the Mura. Let us know what you decide next week.

oreocrumbs · 10/04/2012 20:46

Yay for the Mura!! I hope you love it as much as I do. Do you find it heavy? I'm peturbed by how many people said it was heavy on here and I don't!

Grin
WelshCat · 10/04/2012 21:57

hehe from the little push around i had it didnt feel heavy, certainly not as heavy as the xtreme! carrying that upstairs to put it in the cupboard nearly killed me!

and tiggyunkle loool it was a tough choice!

There's a big difference between heavy to carry and heavy to push, maybe that's where the differing views are coming from? My lightest ever pushing pushchair weighs 13kg, yet I find even a 6kg Zapp heavier to push.

I'm glad you've got something sorted and hopefully you like it. If not, you can keep buying and selling like the rest of us. Wink

WelshCat · 11/04/2012 13:50

Ha ha I just put it on ebay and gumtree!

I went for a super long walk thismorning to test it and I have to say I didnt love it! I could barely get it out of my door and the steering felt heavy. Maybe coz im used to a 3 wheeler? DS wasnt keen on the rain cover either coz it wasnt very spacious. Oh well!

The hunt is back on!

Tiggywunkle · 11/04/2012 15:10

It's easy enough to buy different raincovers :)
Is it a Vigour this time?

WelshCat · 11/04/2012 17:24

possibly. lol i dont know!! i dont wanna buy another one til im sure this time! its soo hard. i saw a graco symbio that was luuuuuush so i want one now. lol.

im impossible to please!

i want a reallly super nice condition pushchair whatever i get.

also i broke a piece off my front door getting the damn mura out to go to the shop! its nice and all but not perfect! oreocrumbs must be super strong!

can someone tel me if this looks good or not? i dont like red but for £25 who can complain!

Not the best of pictures...They should have done a sideways on photograph...Looks like a Vigour 3+ as it appears to have an adjustable footrest...I really liked mine...Plus if you bought it and didn't like it, you could sell it for a bit more.

oreocrumbs · 11/04/2012 21:47

Crikey.. Just call me Mrs Muscles! Its a shame you don't love the mura, but hopefully you will get it sold on asap. Did you get the mura 3 or 4? I have the 3.

Any hoo, I havn't had a vigour, but for £25 I don't think you can go wrong really. The seat looks like it needs a wash, so even if you don't like it you can make it look a bit more loved and sell it on. You will probably make a profit.

HypatiaTheProcrastinator · 11/04/2012 22:52

Didn't you say you were down south somewhere or did I imagine that? If the seller can post or you're able to collect then i guess it's worth a punt at £25! :)

oreocrumbs · 11/04/2012 23:23

I think Op is in Cardiff Hypatia.

WelshCat · 12/04/2012 09:19

I am in cardiff. I gonna end up buying another one before I sell the Mura I know, hope I can bloody sell it now!

And Oreocrumbs, I got the Mura 4.

SoozyWoozy · 12/04/2012 22:23

I hate the Vigour 3+ with a passion... mine tipped over with my DD in it, she was upside down in the road :( I've just bought an Oyster for baby #4, and the lady in the shop (independent retailer) told me she'd known of several Vigours to tip....

WelshCat · 14/04/2012 08:25

!!! I was gonna buy a mamas and papas luna but loads of reviews said they tipped too. how can people sell pushchairs that tip over? its so wrong!
