Whooohoooo! The Duets are starting to come through with no holes in the hood and replacement hoods are available for those who want one :o

FriggOmortisFRIGG · 31/10/2011 11:30

result!Grin

Tiggywunkle · 31/10/2011 11:30

Vista....the oyster is everywhere Wink but they do have pretty colours.

aswellasyou · 31/10/2011 11:31

One I really like the look of is the Jane Rider. It's got a one hand, one piece fold, is teeny weeny folded (62x60x38), reversible seat, ball bearing wheels, adjustable suspension, adjustable handlebar (up to 110cm).

Tiggywunkle · 31/10/2011 11:32

What will we do with no accessory hole now though?? Hmm

aswellasyou · 31/10/2011 11:33

Oh and it takes the Jane Surfer buggy board.

aswellasyou · 31/10/2011 11:34

Every pushchair should have an accessory hole! Wink

HauntedPramsScreamsGalore · 31/10/2011 11:34

i would second the vista, because you need a buggy board for dd, tempted myself with a vista and piggy back board, you all rav about how good it is Grin and i will need something for shopping trips Hmm

Tiggywunkle · 31/10/2011 11:34

Funnily enough I had just been browsing the Jane website because when I went to the pram shop I spotted a Trider and it looked quite nice. I had a quick push and I was left wanting to know more. The Teutonias looked lovely too but I can't get the iPad to open their site properly as it's full of flash.

HauntedPramsScreamsGalore · 31/10/2011 11:36

what was the reason for the hole in hood Confused

Tiggywunkle · 31/10/2011 11:36

The Vista is very good - I still prefer the Peach :) I can't believe no one else has never had one! Go and buy one!!! I will certainly be getting another one :)

Tiggywunkle · 31/10/2011 11:39

It's all here Prams. History now thankfully :)

HauntedPramsScreamsGalore · 31/10/2011 11:41

the new teutonias have an easier seat to take off and on, the older ones are a faff, they have very soft suspension, like a big bouncy pram, i have/had a spirit s3 and a lambda. there is only one that takes the buggy board though, and its the big bouncy pram!!!

HauntedPramsScreamsGalore · 31/10/2011 11:45

oh, now i see, i like how they just left it there, at least they have listened now and have got rid of it Smile

aswellasyou · 31/10/2011 11:48

I'm not sure about the look of the seat units on the Teutonias. I could probably be persuaded to like them though. Wink
The Trider has a much smaller basket than the Rider unfortunately. But I much prefer four wheels personally anyway.

FriggOmortisFRIGG · 31/10/2011 11:53

i think the vistas going to be too much, and the peach doesnt have a buggy board....so im down to the oysterHmm or getting a bee+ and knowing full well it may be faulty...Hmm

Tiggywunkle · 31/10/2011 12:00

There's an exceedingly lightly used Vista on EBay...in fact a couple of them :o

Tiggywunkle · 31/10/2011 12:01

If you don't like the Vista you can always get a Bee or Strawberry whenever arrive....

HauntedPramsScreamsGalore · 31/10/2011 12:05

mothercare are showing the all black bee and the denim one as being in stock, if they are instock, surely they won't be the faulty ones!!!! i know mothercare, but if needs must Smile

HauntedPramsScreamsGalore · 31/10/2011 12:08

although with the bee, unless you use the bugaboo board, i don't think another board would not attach to the axel so you may damage the pushchair over time.

FriggOmortisFRIGG · 31/10/2011 12:18

i might have found one! its a ex-display,that has new wheels etc....but its missing its seat fabric...she might be getting the seat fabric in today, maybee next week,so,we shall see!

HauntedPramsScreamsGalore · 31/10/2011 12:20

have you asked her if she can knock a bit off, being an ex display one

Tiggywunkle · 31/10/2011 12:30

Yay :)

HauntedPramsScreamsGalore · 31/10/2011 12:51

what is a baby jogger sidewalk here

Tiggywunkle · 31/10/2011 13:04

My guess is that it's the 2011 BJ replacement for the Metro which was the special edition that BJ did for Kiddicare only. The Metro also had a black frame and were sold off earlier this year. But the 2011 Mini has the PE board in the back and sit upright straps so I guessed they would bring out the 2011 variant at some point, however there is no mention of those on the spec. They are usually cheaper than regular City minis and I believe the quality isn't quite as high as the City Mini including lesser quality fabrics. There's other differences as well but I would need to look them up, but basically it keeps the regular City Mini a little better. But I do like the black frame and the different colour hood, and if the extra pounds were an issue I would probably send people off to buy a sidewalk!
