frigg, does your dd fit in the seat of the vista or is she too big for it now?
monkeys does your ds have plenty of room in the vista seat still?
i am not normally like this, i usually know what i want and get it, i just can not make my mind up which would be best for me, sorry once i know the above i will suffer in silence and make my mind up honest Grin

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 14:10

The Vista would certainly be better for throwing bags of shopping under....the pushchairs you are considering are all very different beasties. What do you actually want / need. What is mst important.

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 09/11/2011 14:24

DD fits in the vista with room to spare! she looks very comfy in it ,and its still light as a feather to push.Smile

pramsgalore · 09/11/2011 14:29

large seat [dd although is small is 3 now, would be a huge bonus if ds could jump in, so a higher weight than 15kilos which has been the deal breaker for the jane, no where says over 15kg] large basket, folds with seat on, pf would be nice but really not needed if i am honest, i do prefer handle that rotates as to telescopic but not a deal breaker, i do like a little pocket somewhere to put my keys but thats just me being picky Grin i think thats it, thank you

pramsgalore · 09/11/2011 14:31

thanks frigg, this is getting Blush me not being able to make my mind up

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 09/11/2011 14:35

oh, the vista does have a little key pocket! on the back of the seat!Grin

Honeydragon · 09/11/2011 14:48

The Britax Bmobile is £99 in Argos if that helps anyone?

Frigg.....do let me know when you tire of the Vista Grin

MonkeyJuice · 09/11/2011 15:08

Ds still has lots of room in the Vista. I'm not planning on selling it until he no longer needs a buggy at all. It is so v practical.
The carrera has arrived. Again its shockingly heavy for something with an aluminium frame. It's typical Scandinavian everlasting quality. All the components are best quality like I've never seen before.
I've not unfolded it yet, but already like what I can see...I hope it pushes well though. I love the thickly padded seats, hoods and bumpers on the Jane products.

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 15:18

I love the way Uppababy stuffed the key pocket with business cards. I think they could at least have put the model name and a sales phone number on lolol. The Elite has the mesh pocket on the back of the seat plus a parent console with six pockets (based on the double having 12) for everything you could possibly need a pocket for!

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 15:19

Theres no doubt the Vista has more to offer - it's what I call a proper pushchair that all sings and dances. Just very different in style :)

pramsgalore · 09/11/2011 15:33

so do we all think the vista is the way to go,

Grin
Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 15:40

Lol, go on, get it bought. I am still dithering over the Elite here.....

pramsgalore · 09/11/2011 15:44

Grin i'm not the only one dithering then, that makes me feel better.
i am still waiting for this parcel to be picked up, they better turn up

fairimum · 09/11/2011 15:56

go for the vista it is AMAZING!!! Had ours jsut over 2 months now nad LOVE it so much :) Although is it wrong to think about 3rd baby to put in the gorgeous carrycot???

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 15:58

No it's not, it crossed my mind too :) Beautiful carrycot = new baby :)

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 15:59

How many more buggy addicts are there still yet to convert to Vista loveliness??

MonkeyJuice · 09/11/2011 16:02

Looking forwards to H going back to work tomorrow so I may test drive the Janes!
The marine carrera is v big but may fit some spaces that other buggies in the Jane range wouldn't fit.
It has a white frame! Quite unusual wouldn't be my first choice!...
It looks really big and solid and chunky when up. Is simple to fold and unfold once you know how, although takes a bit of strength (would help if mother was Scandinavian Viking build! ) ok for me but I could see some more petite folk struggling.
I'll take some pics of Ds in both new Janes tomorrow.

pramsgalore · 09/11/2011 16:04

lol, i would need to do some explaining if i had another baby, i made him have the snip not one of my better ideas Grin

fairimum · 09/11/2011 16:14

see he always wanted 3, but i wasnt sure - not great pregnancies - so had said stop at 2, but now i really want a 3rd - not sure my consultant will think such a good idea though, but going to meet with her i think!

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 16:18

I think my consultant would resign on the spot if I turned up again!

MonkeyJuice · 09/11/2011 16:19

Tiggy, you should get the elite! You know you'll love it. You need to keep your Vista too....and get another peach then sell everything else!
Prams, get the vista. It's like a cam bee hybrid but better and more practical and user friendly. :)

MonkeyJuice · 09/11/2011 16:29

I was offered sterilisation on the operating table during my c section of Ds. They were disappointed I declined too!
Id love more babies. H is saying no.
I've had 4 miscarriages (at least) two of which were missed miscarriages and required surgery to resolve. I had unexplained bleeding all the way through my last 3 pregnancies too...of which the last preg they were convinced I had cervical cancer and had to have a biopsy under aneasthetic at 18 weeks and there was talk of termination in order to get treatment....no wonder H doesn't want me preg again! I'm so lucky I have my health and all surviving kids made it to 40 weeks no probs.
No wonder I love all things "baby" and obsess about the best pram!
(i never did have cancer BTW and the bleeding and miscarriages were never explained).

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 16:51

I have bought it :o Paypal hiccuped though in the middle Hmm
Gosh that sounds like a lot to go through Monkeys :(
I need to get my BJCM4 here and get shifting some pushchairs out. The Senzz and B-Agile are top of the list once that arrives. To be honest the BJCM4 may well not stay if I prefer the Elite - I dont see me keeping both but it would be a real turn up for the books if the BJCM4 doesn't stay - I saw that as being here forever. But the Elite is much chunkier.
We HAVE to move some pushchairs out though because DS needs his bedroom...he's not been in his cot yet and he's got all the lovely bedding set we bought before he was born. He will be in a bed before he ever makes it into the cot at this rate!

pramsgalore · 09/11/2011 17:11

tiggy Grin full review when it arrives please, i can not order mine yet as friend can not do school run for me this week, so have to wait till next week Sad you can bet your bottom dollar it would turn up the 30mins i would be out of the house.
My consultant smiled at me after i had dd and said we won't be seeing you again will we, i had surgery after ds and got told not a good idea to get pregnant ooops, i had major problems, catherter bag straped to my leg for 2 weeks before and 1 week after i had dd and a grade one c section, knocked out and dd had to be resuscitated not good, i refused to leave the house with a bloody bag strapped to my leg. so a good thing i have had the choice taken away really.

suzie38 · 09/11/2011 17:43

I will NOT be having another baby even though it means i will have to give up my addiction in the next 12-18 months Sad I must be the only addict to dislike the Vista, handle was too high and it didn't have any bounce...I've made the right decision to keep my Go, though i'd love a black framed one!!! Took it to DD skating class today with a number of bags loaded on and it pushed like a dream whether DD was sat in it or not...Just deciding on whether to buy a Brio shiny footmuff
www.brio.net/To_Go_Stroller/Accessories/Footmuff_and_Seatpad/36158_Shiny_Footmuff.aspx
And a seat pad
