Basket med small but deepish. Access ok. Better than city mini. Basket fabric best quality strong material. Pump included.
Nice reflector strips either side.
Seat recline is v easy one handed. Disc brake fab. Handlebar comfy. Fold and unfold easy.
Raincover awesome. With viewing window.

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 10:08

Lol, I have this lovely mental image of you opening the box with things flying everywhere :) I am glad the Jane looks good. I hope you get out with it soon.

MonkeyJuice · 09/11/2011 10:39

Do you think MB gave Holly her +One as a publicity stunt, as often happens with celebrities? They presented the owner of winstanleys pramworld a terrain for the publicity (as did many other manufacturers)....

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 11:52

Hollie reviews everything and anything!

pramsgalore · 09/11/2011 11:57

i always search for her video reviews on youtube because like you tiggy, she shows her dc's in the pushchairs to give you an idea of size and tells you everything you may need to know, you should do video reviews tiggy i would be an avid watcher, i love youtube for this.

aswellasyou · 09/11/2011 12:06

Tiggy, have you looked into buying an Elite with the points deal at Boots today/tomorrow? I've just added it to my basket to see how many points it added, but it only comes to 6740. I found a £10 off code (QUID100), which isn't great but better than nothing. I thought it would end up with 3x4x314 points for triple points, plus 6x314 points for the extra Parenting Club points and then 1200x4 points for the points offer. That would be 10452 points, which would make it an amazing deal on top of the 10% cashback.

pramsgalore · 09/11/2011 12:14

wow that would make it around £255 taking in account points earned and including raincover

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 12:16

But it doesn't add 10452 points, is that what you are saying? But you get 6740? It's still good though :) I need £10 of Boots points at present. I had kind of said I would buy one from elsewhere depending on the price...

pramsgalore · 09/11/2011 12:19

yes with raincover added its showing 6816 in points Hmm i just prefer the look and basket size of the vista, but the elite would last longer, but the basket looks smaller and not as easy to get to. going back onto youtube Smile

pramsgalore · 09/11/2011 12:22

if i got the elite from boots, i would then have over £100 worth of points Grin i wish i could afford both Sad

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 12:25

It doesn't seem to give you the £12 of advantage card points per £75. Is that because of the parenting club points?

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 12:27

I think the Elite basket is fine to et into. It's all elasticated so easy to move out of the way. Do you get more points if you phone up?

aswellasyou · 09/11/2011 12:28

Yes, so it would be £305 with £30.50 cashback and £67.40 of points. Which is just over £200. You could then go into a Boots store and order the raincover or another accessory and pay using your points.

aswellasyou · 09/11/2011 12:29

I wondered whether the 1200 points only showed up once you went to an advantage card kiosk. But as you say, it's still a very good deal.

pramsgalore · 09/11/2011 12:32

its an old colour, would that matter, is red a 2010 colour are there any changes. looked on babyjogger and red is not listed anymore as a colour option

aswellasyou · 09/11/2011 12:35

I found the Red Sport colour option here.

aswellasyou · 09/11/2011 12:37

I see what you mean. I didn't realise I was on the US site.

pramsgalore · 09/11/2011 12:41

if you add a toy thats over £75 it adds the £12 worth of points, i went further into check out and no the points stay the same, so no £12 worth of points for every £75 spent, i wonder if it excludes on offer items, i know it cancels out normal points, so they might be giving you one offer but the best one iyswim

pramsgalore · 09/11/2011 12:46

?During any points event, both in store and online, existing points promotions will not be multiplied
this is under terms and conditions, but its still a very good offer

aswellasyou · 09/11/2011 12:48

I've just read on MSE that the offer's on after 3.30pm. I haven't read that anywhere else, and it's strange that it's doing it for the toy you added. Maybe it's worth waiting a few hours to see if it shows up then.

aswellasyou · 09/11/2011 12:51

I read that, but didn't understand it!Blush I thought it was a generic T&C meaning that when it says 'triple points' and you're already getting 10 points per pound, then you don't get 30 points per pound.

My head's starting to hurt!Grin

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 12:54

I just phoned them up, but could make head nor tail of it. Apparently the points total is correct....at £12 per £75 with some extra for parenting club etc but I was getting similar all week when I was playing around. I don't believe it's right Hmm unless as you say, one offer superceedes the other.
I like the red one best :) I don't believe the Elite changed this year - it's a shame because sit upright straps were useful.

pramsgalore · 09/11/2011 12:56

when i went into the norwich branch they were doing the points event and that did not start until after 12 so maybe thats for in store, but i shall wait till after the school run, tiggy did they make any changes to the 2011 model.
i am very tempted indeed, as it would do everything apart from look pretty and pf, but then i have pushchairs that pf Grin

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 13:00

Not that I am aware of - just colour.

pramsgalore · 09/11/2011 13:31

changed my mind, just read a review to say that you can not fit a bag of shopping into the basket as is, you have to post things, its back heavy so buggy board tips it back and a shopping bag hung on handle makes it tippy, and the back wheels stick out quite far out, which i now can see, had not spotted this before, Grrrrrrr, i am just going to order the vista and be done with it, back to bb to double check on seat height and space, ds will just have to buggy board it with his lead on when near busy roads, crowds etc
