And a seat pad

I also like the load bag and on Kiddies24, they have an organiser to hang on the handle...Seriously you could hang 4 nappy bags off the handle without it tipping or damaging the handle...It's so strong and study but like a feather to push Smile

Have you seen the 7AM footmuffs? They are sooo snuggly!

Honeydragon · 09/11/2011 18:09

Oh crapbag Sad is the handle high?

that's a dealbreaker for me, I like the bee on the lowest sending and find even the Cam too high.

suzie38 · 09/11/2011 18:23

I'm losing track of Vista wanters...The lowest setting is 104cm i think...The lowest setting on the generation 2 is 102cm and Prams said it's 98cm on the generation 1...Generation 1 Cameleon was fine but my all black one is uncomfortably high with a heavier toddler in, not too bad when she's walking but that's not the point of a pushchair!!! I had my Bee Plus on 2 or 3 notches i think, and the Donkey is the same, as that goes about as low as a Bee Plus.

7am ones are nice but i don't want to spend that much money...Actually i was going to get a waterproof Bugglesnuggle thinking about it.

UppaBaby Visa Buggy

"The Uppababy Vista Buggy is amazing in every way! The pull out-sunshade is invaluable, and the seat unit is HUGE compared to others. My 3.5 year old can still fit in it if she needs to, and she's too big for most others." fairimum

"Get the Uppababy Vista. It's better value for money in the long-run and much nicer to push. We love it because it's lovely to use, well made and very safe." MonkeyPunk

"I love the Uppababy Vista, it's a great pram. I've used it around the town, but also off-road and it's been great. Plus, it looks really good, especially with the bassinet, and the bassinet's sunscreen does the job nicely." nearlyreadytopop

MonkeyJuice · 09/11/2011 21:05

Oh, why did they edit my name? Typo? I needs an Christmas name soon....

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 09/11/2011 21:14

misdee · 09/11/2011 21:31

ok, give me more info the britax b-dual please.

can i use the main seat rear facing with the bottom seat for baby?

can it fold with the seats on in either direction?

can i scream as my head is fed up with doubles.

and now i have sold my mb urban and am left with a maclaren quest. thats it!

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 09/11/2011 21:35

yes,you may scream.Grin

when i had it,i used the top RF with baby in and the bottom seat had toddler DD in,was a bot of a squeeze, but def do-able.

im not 100% about the fold....aswellasyou will know,as she has one ATM.

misdee · 09/11/2011 21:41

do u whack your legs on the rear seat?

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 21:49

Yes you can use the main seat rear facing with the bottom seat for baby but it is a bit tight. Baby is flat to begin with, so there is more room to do this than when baby needs to start sitting upright. But even so, it depends how old your eldest is and how long her legs are. Here is a photo of the lower seat flat and upper seat reclined or this with the hood down. I have to say it didn't work with my two who were a bit older.
You can only fold with the seats forward facing.

Yes you can scream......

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 21:50

No susprisingly you dont whack your legs on the rear seat. I thought I would because I do with some of the Phil & Teds (which drives me nutty).

misdee · 09/11/2011 21:55

i knocked my shins on the p+t.

how hard is the raincover to throw over the two seats? do they have seperate raincovers?

the purple is lovely, and there is a bn one on ebay inc double seat for £299

am assuming they dont hold their value though.

whichs is better, p+t or explorer? which one is easier to see the kiddies in?

am still planning on a duet as main double, but want a back up as always lol.

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 22:20

The raincover is one large on and its fabulous. In fact I kept it and now use it on the Peach and its been used on the Hauck Duett too. It simply throws on and velcros easily up the sides. There's extra tabs at the front and I think the back if you want.

At £299 I dont think you can go far wrong to be honest. They wont hold their value but at that price I bet you get £150 back after?

I am not sure I understand the next question. Do you mean P&Ts or B-Dual. If so there is no doubt that the B-Dual on every level is far superior. The spacing between the seats is huge - I measured it for someone who was dubious and we were both shocked how much room there was. Both seats can lie flat. You have the storage space. Both seats have large hoods - and to answer your question, the B-Dual has mesh panels in the hoods so you can unzip them and see straight down onto the lower child and it makes it easy to peek round the side at the upper child without having to peer in as you do most pushchairs. I like the cosy hoods - I dont like hoods which dont meet the seat especially for winter. I like the way it folds to freestanding too although its a chunk, its neat with both seats inside.

There's two downsides to the B-Dual really - first the seating position because older children "hang" but putting the footrest up alleviates that. But you also need a soft cot in the bottom for the baby to give them leg support. The second is the large mudguards which increase the width. But if I were just putting a baby in the lower seat then to be honest I would be leaving them off until they were a bit bigger. Mine got bent several times in doorways!

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 09/11/2011 22:21

out of b-duel and p&t id go for a B-duel. definitely.

Tiggywunkle · 09/11/2011 22:40

I know this is the Verve, but does this comparison help? You can see the space between the seats on each plus how much higher the seat of the B-Dual is but yet the hood height is the same. Plus how much wider the B-Dual seat is.

Daisybell1 · 10/11/2011 06:49

Well, I think i'd better join in the fun properly now as the pram dweller is only 6 weeks old and I now have 5 prams!

Was in the trafford centre Boots last night and pounced on a bjcm! 20% off plus £50 worth of points Grin. Am now realising that I need something to keep the pram dweller cosy in it, and also am not sure if its a 2010 or 2011 model, and should I care...
