Haha! I wanted to bid on that Aprica but it's way too far away! It's the first one that's been listed in about 4-5 months. Well done! I'm going to look up the other one.

You all talk too much by the way, it's going to take me days to catch up!

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 06/11/2011 21:21

Grin well at least you can do a review of it for us...

Honeydragon · 06/11/2011 21:27

It's miles away from me too the seller agreed to pack it for me to send a courier Smile

pramsgalore · 06/11/2011 21:37

i have sold one and hopefully selling another when i have sent pics, dp is happy, although extra 2 in hall from outhouse and loft,[not including the one in front room awaiting pic] so he will be moaning again soon. Hmm

pramsgalore · 06/11/2011 21:39

thats the same as the one someone linked to yesterday, but in cream [it was called something else though], icandy chassis!!! very nice

Peachybuzzybee · 06/11/2011 21:40

That's another Apple lookalike isn't it? Even the foley in wheels at the front.
Did anyone buy the purple Pegasus? I can't remember who liked it.

Peachybuzzybee · 06/11/2011 21:41

Foldy! Grr re iPads which think they know what you 'really' want! Lol

Honeydragon · 06/11/2011 21:52

It was me with the valco too. I think subconsciousnessly I'm hoping the Aprica will work out so I can look at getting a walking / shopping pushchair and maybe, if I dare sell the Bee Shock

misdee · 06/11/2011 21:55

oh has the bee wheel issue been sorted?

TruthSweet · 06/11/2011 22:00

Well done Honey that is a peach of a pram [wunk]

Picked up the EasyLife today - it was originally on at £50 but the lady selling it loved it so much and saw how much I loved it she gave us our money back!!! The lady was lovely and I'm going to send her some photos of the DDs in the EasyLife so she can see it went to a good home Grin

It is fab, narrow and the seats are HUGE. Her 9y/o sat in it and whilst his head was touching the hood he was 9 years old. The leg length is long too.

The best bit is that each seat has a horizontal zip running along the back of the seat that when you undo the seat then drops a few inches. Difficult to describe but it totally changes the profile of the seat and there is more head room and the front of the seat changes shape too.

The seat fabric is not too pretty (still sturdy after 9 years though) but the chassis is something else - it's all sparkly Shallow am I!

They are still replacing all the affected ones with new wheels with metal bearings.

Spoke to them this week. They are still using the washers, as the metal bearing wheels still can suffer from the shimmy, but importantly cannot jam or tip.

They think that within the next 6 months the engineers will have completed a full solution to the shimmy too, as they have realised it annoys some buyers, and will then correct this as well for all existing customers.

However, out of 5 Bee Plus owners I know only two of us suffered from the shimmy, and the other woman with the metal wheels as she bought hers before the plastic only gets it when the pushchair is empty.
