Yay! Glad you are happy :o Uppababy really do seem to have thought about it. Have a look at the carrycot if you get two mins coz it's beautiful.

pramsgalore · 02/11/2011 19:08

oh, i feel i am missing out, i may have to get a vista to see why you all love it so much Smile
what colour did you get frigg, i like the red and the yellow one. i am convincing myself and dp i need another pushchair Grin i don't need much convincing but dp does

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 02/11/2011 19:10

i got the red...its a lovely colour,i might buy a cole(blue) or a silver colour pack too though BlushGrin

Tiggywunkle · 02/11/2011 19:15

I bet a two tone Vista would be smart....

pramsgalore · 02/11/2011 19:15

ooooo lovely, dp is now thinking about it, so thats progress as earlier it was, not a chance Grin and this is why i don't usually ask him he wants an iphone on contract though hahahaha

Tiggywunkle · 02/11/2011 19:17

whispers Peach, Peach, Peach!

pramsgalore · 02/11/2011 19:17

and a bit different silver seat and coloured hood

Tiggywunkle · 02/11/2011 19:20

You guys need a swap shop of parts!

pramsgalore · 02/11/2011 19:23

lol, they are very nice, when i get a yes, he will be taking me to look, but i am undecided, but i have narrowed it down to vista, peach or be good and get baby jogger city mini 4, but i am not a fan of small compact pushchairs, i have no real need for them, as i don't drive and i don't really care what i push onto a bus anymore, on holiday i ended up in the middle of the gang way with my double [did ask bus driver if i could it was a park and ride] another buggy was in the gap. i get looks and comments with ds, so i don't care about a few more Grin

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 02/11/2011 19:24

The red matches my red star buggysnuggle perfectly too,and DS's sheepskin is in,and the seat is still roomy!
it looks lovely and comfy...DS was grinning the whole time he was in it,
thats pretty impressive considering it was a trip to the drs to get his immunisations....

im also impressed with the fold, its very neat...they've really thought about all the little details.Smile

Tiggywunkle · 02/11/2011 19:27

I liked that it freestands and locks too, and folds with the seat on. It's higher spec than a Bugaboo. It's the small details that make the difference. I would love a Cruz!

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 02/11/2011 19:33

yes! the folding with eat on is geat, though i wish it did RF folding too...
i cant make it freestand...i think im doing it wrongBlush

i also love that i put it all together without having to see the instructions,it s all logical...the fold is the only thing i had to check, but its very easy once you know how.

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 02/11/2011 19:33

i would LOVE a cruz too!

suzie38 · 02/11/2011 19:44

I'd love a Cruz but only if you could buy an optional bumper bar.

pramsgalore · 02/11/2011 19:52

i quite like their g-luxe, as buggys go that is!!

Tiggywunkle · 02/11/2011 19:56

I had to check three things which is unusual for me. The fold, how to remove the carrycot (totally not logical) and how to remove the car seat adaptors. As I said on BB it's not ne to wave at the grandparents and say 'you will work it out' - especially the carrycot and car seat adaptors. All simple when you know how!

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 02/11/2011 20:03

ahh,now i havent tried either of those yet!

Tiggywunkle · 02/11/2011 20:44

Time for another baby then [wunk, wunk]

MonkeyJuice · 02/11/2011 20:50

I think grampys can only be trusted with babyjogger. Ours bent a maclaren chassis at the back trying to fold it! Was never the same after they borrowed it. :(
I would not leave them the vista just incase. They do daft stuff like leave it outside on the doorstep! (To my mind that's like leaving a few hundred quid cash on the doorstep) not a v high crime area but even so. I know folk who've had bikes taken from the doorstep locally.
I would be v v upset if my vista was taken.
Friggfrigg I stand my buggy bumperbar side to the wall folded. I do fold the footrest down to neaten the fold. It kind of makes a neat place to plonk the changebag too.

MonkeyJuice · 02/11/2011 20:54

Friggfrigg I have the yellow vista, and now the black covers. I might get the blue or red at some point. I quite like the idea of blue on the dark frame I have. Might look pretty.

suzie38 · 02/11/2011 21:01

Thought you'd been busy Prams with 3 children under the age of 2 re Duet thread!!! Mind you someone on a BB elsewhere had babies April 09, 10 and 11.

OP posts:
pramsgalore · 02/11/2011 21:01

lol, my mum would not only leave the pushchair out the front of her house, but she would leave the baby in there too if it was asleep Shock she did this with my sisters, needless to say, when she has looked after mine on a visit i have made it very clear leave my pushchair and loose it, pay for it, she won't risk it, she knows they are not cheap Grin

pramsgalore · 02/11/2011 21:03

oh no, i knew i had worded that wrong, no, 04, 06 and 08 less than 2 years inbetween each of them Blush 3 under 2 can that be done with out twins

Tiggywunkle · 02/11/2011 22:15

Yes in theory! I knew siblings that were just 6 months apart because the second was premature!

pramsgalore · 02/11/2011 22:27
