Oh i am so please we have left that old thread. Was a strange one but i feel hopefull that some old and new friends will come on for a chatt.

Schools open here this morning, but DS1 choked with the cold gah!
More snow and still snowing too, sorry maxy.

We've not had any snow overnight, thank god, but the school is closed . My stepdad is coming to watch boys so I can go shopping.

I was meant to be going to finish my christmas shopping today and tomorrow, hopefully the kids will be back at school tomorrow as DH off and we can dio it then.

we had snow!!! Only a couple of cm or so - but snow all the same and has been snowing on and off all morning.

Feel pants though as really sore chest and cough cough cpough everytime I try to move, so not even going into work

oh gosh Nic yes am with you! Not even dressd, legs are aching like mad. james and matthew were both reaally snotty but I'm not at all, just feel like an elephant is sat on me. I'd stop coughing if I stopped breathing

we've got bright blue sky now anyway - same as you though Nic don't care now, maybe for diff reasons, but ye you'll be btter off boys in school obviously.

Loads of snow here, work have just phoned to tell me to stay at home!!

Both the boys are at mils as they stayed there last night. We went to see Peter Kay in Sheffield , he was FAB.

Weather was awful to drive home in tho.

Just made a monster chocolate cake with the DSs, that killed half an hour.

well am hoping I pick up feel like going to bed but it seems james has picked up today

I am feeling better today Maxy, so hopefully you'll feel better tomorrow. Always the case that you feel worse when the kids feel better.

Can you ladies please do me a favour and check to see if this is anywg=here near you? DS1 wants one for Christmas and it is out of stock in every shop I've looked in.

man from argos said to check things online about 8pm when the shops shut and then any returned stock will show then. woman at toddlers got something that way as he'd been looking for 2 months

It's in stock in toys r us in Bradford - if that is helpful at all

Thanks Maxy. I've checked all the toy shops near me, Toys R Us, Smyths, Argos, Tesco. Not sure where else to look! There was one on Amazon, but not an Air hogs one, and don;t want to buy non brand for something like that as likely to be crap.

I hate the run up to Christmas, people buying the top toys then flogging them for profit on Ebay! Makes me so mad and takes the fun out of christmas.

there's one on ebay brand new and none in completed so not been loads of people buying that one to sell at any rate! Maybe worth watching?

Think theres a problem today with Argos, will our store anyway as they weren't taking card payments or taking/issuing giftcards, so couldn't get what I wanted with the free gift cards!

All the ones on Ebay are selling for £20 more than the Argos one.No way am I paying over the odds, I refuse on principle. Santa will just have to get hi something else if I can't get it.

Just had Open University on the phone, they've not received my dovucments supporting my free tuition. Grrrr and eeeeek! Need to get it sent in by 8th December, so should be able to get that sorted!

evening all. i called dh home from work myself this morning. Couldn't stay awake and felt very dizzy. Was in bed whilst luka at nursery and boys at school terry got back at 3pm did all school runs made tea and now back at work. Tom is going to do boys bath i can barely stand.

Oh der Nicola that doesn't sound good? I walked to Iceland with DH just now and it nearly killed me, coughed all the way, so hard my head hurt, realy struggled to breathe. Don't think I'll be taking James to speech therapy, it's all up hill and crippling on a good day

has the doctor checked your chest maxy? doesn't sound good. i hate being this poorly feel useless with 101 things to do.

Am looking into early scans as well as feel a nervous wreck atm. Would rather know one way or the other before xmas.
