maxybrown · 29/11/2010 13:45

Nipper is longer folded than classic - I know this as it wouldn't fit in the classic box Grin

It is near the bottom snala - no reason why it should get any worse, I would use it for another year with no worries easily.

HMG i think DS is 6 in that classic picture, I still have the email you sent me with him it Grin

lol basl, i wish i so wish! i would also have a big slab of pate on toast if i could to go with!!

will that be daniel for the night then?! lucky thing.

5inthebed · 29/11/2010 17:50

Not snowed in Nicola Grin. DH came home about half 9 and has been home all day. I had a bit of a funny turn and went to bed, feeling much better now though.

Basl, I'd love to have a glass of wine, but am not venturing out in this. We've had thunder and lightning! Very odd when it is snowing. Quite freaking me out. DS2 hates thunder and has been hysterical!

Need to do shopping tomorrow, schools likely to be off so my stepdad is going to come watch boys while I go do it.

basl · 29/11/2010 18:23

Our schools off tomorrow as well 5in. I can send you a tesco delivery if you want. Grin I love living across the road from the co-op and if they shut my mum has a wine cupboard.

Nicola sorry that was not thinking about that love sorry. Daniel really poorly actually. He has cried all day and has runny bum. He has lost weight and a wee bit lighter to pick up Grin we were out for ages for a walk in the snow and a wee play and he just kept crying saying up up. So when we got home he sat beside Olivia and fell asleep sitting up Shock never ever know him to do that. So lets wait n see he normally goes to bed at 7pm and been sleeping for ages. Kenny still out

maxybrown · 29/11/2010 18:42

ooh I'd love to Basl!

I have a stupid stupid annoying cough and feel like I have a dead weight on my chest (aside from my actual dead weight of a chest I mean lol)

James bit brighter now but not eating at all, kees saying gnn......more..... Mummy - which is no more, which is also odd as he can say no but not in a sentence Grin NOt taht he ate anyway Grin

Ooh yes pate, nice - sorr Nic Grin will PP you in a mo too

Flyme · 29/11/2010 18:42

Evening all.
Nice to hear some pushchair chat in the shed Grin

Blardy freezing here but no snow .......yet.
DD3 is very frustrating she refuses to wear her hat or a scarf and only agrees to have gloves on after her hands have turned blue. Then she gets miserable and we have whinging all the way down the road. Oh and she has taken against the kaiser too although did get into it eventually. Sigh.

Flyme · 29/11/2010 18:44

Just checked bbc weather and we are due heavy snow overnight. Yikes!

maxybrown · 29/11/2010 18:45

yes I think basically the whole of the country except us Shock seems to just be swirling around us Sad

nicolamumof3 · 29/11/2010 18:52

yes snow snow snow we get our turn at last. just when im feeling crappy too!! will have boys all day by self if school closed. oh the joys.

5in hope you're feeling better. Right best move off my expanding back side and run these boys a bath oh and give the fire a little poke too!

maxybrown · 29/11/2010 18:57

Sad Bear moo. I want snow - I know you lot up there are prob fed up of it, so I apologise for having a little tantrum - I shal just do it quietly in a corner, inbetween coughing.

horsemadgal · 29/11/2010 19:39

Our schools closed 1 hour early tonight. I mean what's the point of that? Teachers had to hang about for ages until all kids collected anyways, not like they got home any earlier!
We have to check website or radio in the morning see if open tomorrow or not. Will be first time I've heard of school closing for snow if it does happen. Did close as the heating broke down once.

5inthebed · 29/11/2010 19:43

Maxy, moo? You can have some of my snow if you like. My friend has just moved to Manchester, and is v jealous of all our snow.

Still no idea if DSs schools are open or closed. I think they will be closed.

nicolamumof3 · 29/11/2010 19:48

I think they close more because of staffing difficulties hmg? My boys in bed I'm watching my soaps with a chicken korma

horsemadgal · 29/11/2010 19:50

They had enough staff to get them unti 2pm though. Was because more snow forecast I believe, however was bright sunshine at 2pm LOL!

basl · 29/11/2010 20:01

Bear moo is one of our lovely maxy's little sayings. She love bears and well i will let her explain the moo bit lol. It kind of sticks once you start saying it. Kind of translates like i am well peed off.

5in i think you cast a spell when you said i had pathetic snow lol it is outrageous now. All schools in my area closed. Our local tesco has no bread milk etc it's like the bloody war but i have wine yay!!!

OP posts:
maxybrown · 29/11/2010 20:19

tell us we have pathetic snow - go on 5in Grin

yes well Basl summed it up - Bear moo is baaaaaaaaadddddd and then there is Moo bear! said in a lightned tone, meaning good - don't ask, I have no idea how it began. Grin

It is also to do with safety policies in school HMG, and unfortunately in the day and age when parents/kids anyone you like will sue for Anything so schools have to take extra mega precautions, all to do with premises. Also if they anticpate more snow, it can be then hard to get staff and pupils home so best to not have them there in the first place!

horsemadgal · 29/11/2010 20:37

I know maxy, but 1 hour early?? Was more hassle that it was worth.

maxybrown · 29/11/2010 21:42

oh no sorry i was just talking about it closing full stop Grin

horsemadgal · 29/11/2010 22:03

Yes closing all day is unavoidable sometimes.
