nicolamumof3 · 05/11/2010 07:31

oooh im liking the lookey of this shed!! New members who want prams fabby! welcome all sorry ihave been rather absent.

i think the double nipper is fab i had one back in the summer for my two boys who are 4 and 3 and still a doddle to push.

How old are you dc?

as for strollers you cannot beat a mac for pushability however i did briefly have an obaby which was cheap and fine tbh. but seat v.narrow depends on age of child if over two you need to be looking for a mac for seat/wheel size i'd say?

lillypie · 05/11/2010 08:36

Morning nic Smile
I have been rather absent too, been tied up with my parents. However I now have more time to spare as Issy is doing 2.5 days at pre-school.

As you know I am down to my volo but really want an emergency three wheeler for bad weather over the winter.

I am hoping to get a bargain nipper from soneone on the other board quite soon Grin

nicolamumof3 · 05/11/2010 09:13

Oh tink that was fast work girl!! Is it really good then. Did you get the bright blue one? How does your little one like it?

I find myself wanting to buy prams all the time again tis terrible. Daniel starting going to my sisters on a friday afternoon now as a proper childminding slot and Olivia always goes to her grandad for a proper dinner on a friday after school so i am going to use this day as Housework day and all the things i can't fit in. I am on my lunch break at the moment Wink
I go to toddler group on Friday and my sister goes to so she just took him home with her and i pushed an empty buggy home Shock Still loved doing that lol

Lovely colour
Easy 2 put up and down
Basket good

nicolamumof3 · 05/11/2010 18:17

the push is it basl , its awesome. Its all in the push. So light, so maneouvrble, so smooth due to the air tyres. It folds really compact, also free standing when folded which is ace. back tyres remove. Air tyres make it good for off road you can just tip back onto air tyres. You can push it one handed but still have handle bars to hang bags off! loved this. good basket, looks really really cool as well.

down side is the seat is small..how tall is daniel? luka is 94cm and too big for it with a coat on now..hence why we have swapped to nipper v.v.v.v.v.reluctantly.

horsemadgal · 05/11/2010 21:18

Oo here you all are!

basl · 06/11/2010 08:12

Morning Everyone and yoooo hoooo HMG Grin

Acht nicola i just knew that was coming. I don't really like the look of it to be honest. Maybe a bit too cool for moi but it sounds just what i am after. I would love my bjcm with air tyres. I would love to try a 2009 swift.

Went to fireworks in our local Glen and it was amazing. Olivia went to her grandads as he gets full view but in the warmth.
My sister let me take her double nipper to save me lumping any buggies on the way to hers. I have to say it is super light to push and daniel was comfy apart from the hard edge that just seem to catch under his knees and his legs just sort of dangled. I was most impressed tho.

lillypie · 06/11/2010 08:37

Morning all I am trying to motivate myself to get dressed and get ready for work.

Basl I loved my double nipper,it was a very reluvtant sale lol

basl · 06/11/2010 09:25

Well you know i never felt silly pushing only Daniel in it either. Very compact i thought. Just shame about the hard bit where his knees seem to just hit and we all remember how my giant boy looked in that nipper. Damn shame as i the the nipper would be great for me as it ticks all the boxes but lacks that extra rest for the leg and not tall enough for giant boy.

because your used to the footrest on the elite i suppose basl?

sunshine here. we are meeting friends at softplay after lunch..tate been asking if its lunchtime for last hour grrrr!

basl · 06/11/2010 10:06

I think so nicola Smile it seemed his wee legs no long enough for them to sit comfortable on the other hand my 10year old nephew managed to squish himself in to keep daniel happy during the fireworks and do you know i could still push it Shock

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 06/11/2010 11:27

haha! How are those lovely nephews of yours?

luka had his buggysnuggle on the other day when he was poorly to docs and he had plenty of room in it was v.impressed.

basl · 06/11/2010 12:38
