crikey I hope he's not in age 9/10 or something by the time i get the funds for it GrinGrin

Anyway, Nicola - if you're around at all - So, I go in Next today (the same one I went in last week) to take some things back so whilst I'm at the desk I ask her where the dungarees ahve gone and she explains that if they only have a couple of pairs of things left they take them off shop floor - which I already knew as been told that before in Next, ANYWAYS, so I say I want age 3/4 please, first she makes me look through both directories, nd i tll her they aren't in there, another woman says "THEY'RE NOT ONLINE??!!" - Like I'm making it up, No I say I assure you they are not (does she not know that I know these things? lol) so after going through the directories andn not finding them, I then - wait for it, have to try and explain what dunagrees are Shock she isn't getting it at all, then I say they are lined have cuffed bottoms - no idea so I have to explain that as well. I then show her instore, what dungarees are, explain it isn't those ones though and off she goes. Comes back about 10 mins later with 2 completely different pairs of jeans with braces on, one possibly ina 3/4 and one about 0-3 months "Is it either of these?" she says, looking all hopeful.

"no, ah but thanks for looking" AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH

Anyway I am off to Manchester tomorrow so will hopefully, keep everything crossed be able to get them for you!

nicolamumof3 · 24/11/2010 17:56

mummyistheword · 24/11/2010 23:32

Hi all, I haven't posted since start of thread.....pram dilemmas unfolding meantime!! Have just started thread re buzz buggy board stress and wondering if should have indeed gone for p and t over buzz. Hmmmmm, really think I ought to have nailed pram choices after 3 years but appears not! I often wonder when reading this thread....all he pushchairs fans you are but.... What about change bags eh?! Do u just transfer same one between buggies or have various to use or are you fly by seat of pants types with one nappy and a packet of raisins in your proper non nappy type bags?! .....I keep trying this but always backfires and I eat the raisins and the nappy is the wrong size or it's been 'borrowed' by dd1 for her dolly and the sticky tabs aren't sticky anymore, then we go home. Vowing to get self decent big mummy type bag. That matches pram, which i'm always swapping! Ha ha!

basl · 25/11/2010 00:59

Mummy carrie will be along with some baby bag advice Smile

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 25/11/2010 10:28

morning all! here is drowsy lady!

mummy...i was never a fan of baby changing bags but i bought a babymel just over a year ago and loved it. Don't need a changing bag at all anymore, but will be keeping it for dc4. I was never one to have a fully stocked baby really anyway. Maybe for the first couple of months. After that was a couple nappies, wipes, clean vest chucked in any bag i was using. Grin

anyone got snow yet?!

Flyme · 25/11/2010 10:53

No snow over here Grin
Blardy cold though.
DD2 threw up at intervals last night and can't walk DD3 into town so both of them off school and nursery. Have done two jigsaws and they are now watching tv while I have tea and lemon drizzle cake.

Nicola I really must try and get organised and sell the Micralite liner. Maybe when you feel up to it you could find out if the person on other board still interested. £25.00 plus post.

mummyistheword · 25/11/2010 11:11

Just been out in snow, dd2 had morning snooze....still a snoozing in pram so did snowmen family in garden and now dd1playing while I drink tea with buttery toast, excellent. The snow was very powdery though so our snowmen are small!!! She seems pleased though.....ahhhh five mins peace.....
