I’m loving this thread.

@rockstarshoes where is the cat wallpaper from?

Mmmkaay · 31/03/2024 21:57

And this is what poor OH has just put up in our downstairs loo (I say poor as it is a tiny room full of nooks and crannies and it took him forever)

This is a less blurry photo.

I saw that design in fabric years ago and so wanted to cover all my chairs in it!

Not every bodies taste but I had this on a wall in the living room and loved it.

Mare by Albany - Deep Blue - Wallpaper : Wallpaper Direct

That would cause a proper visual disturbance after a heavy night out drinking! 😀

PiggieWig · 31/03/2024 22:40

We had this in our old house. I loved waking up to it - it was really soothing

On a few of the links it says 73/74 people have looked at this in the last few hours. I'm guessing most of them are on this thread. Absolutely loving this thread

I just don't know how a piece of paper can cost extortionate amounts of money. There are plenty of wallpapers out there that are very nice to look at that don't cost as much as the ones I have seen other members put on here, over £300 for one roll. I'm a fully qualified painter and decorator and I think the most a customer has ever paid for a roll of wallpaper was about £25

Am I the only one who thinks the forest wallpaper is bloody awful? All the colours are so cold and uninviting. Looks like a chilly, damp, woods and all the trees are too identical and skinny.

Absolutely agree with a previous post saying they couldn’t look at it without thinking of broccoli 🥦!

bpirockin · 01/04/2024 00:41

So many beauties on here if you have the right place for it. I adore the Harlequin humming birds, and the matching voile is dreamy, but my recent fancy is an Emma Shipley one called Audubon, which is cheap in comparison to many of these, if only I had somewhere suitable.

I love this.

I went to a restaurant with a very similar wallpaper to this, but I think it was hand-made as the pattern didn't repeat. The repetition on most wallpapers freaks me out a bit, for some reason. I welcome the recent proliferation of "Muriels" with their gigantic prints or complete scenes! Haven't got any paper on my walls right now but, if I did, it might be something like this

Gosh, I wouldn't mind my insomnia if I could lie in the deep dark forest.

However the cost would keep me awake !!

I want this on our curved staircase to the top
floor but I don’t actually know where to get it. It’s gorgeous.

It's quite expensive, but this is the one!

Its the design work. I've not got any wallpaper in my house less than 70gbp per roll. It's not because I don't look at cheaper ones - I do - but they don't look quite right.

savvy7 · 01/04/2024 08:09

In my defence I only tend to paper.one wall!

@willWillSmithsmith

no it's not.

I'm fed up of people on here continually criticising white walls & saying it's boring.

you can like what you like without criticising others

It really is. This is taking ‘offence’ to the extreme.
