I think we can celebrate what we like without criticising what other people like. Some people like maximalism, some like minimalism. All are valid choices and you don't bolster your own choices by demeaning someone elses. This is a predominantly joyful thread, lets keep it that way.

I have had this in my downstairs loo for years, makes me smile.

I feel there’s something missing in me. I’ve literally never seen a wallpaper I even like, let alone love ☹️

Many many years ago I saw a wisteria wallpaper in purple and green on a light background in a smart Interiors magazine - and I LOVED it! I have not been able to find it since despite searching and searching. Most of the ones I have found are too 'spotty' - this gave the impression of actually being in the midst of a really well-established wisteria arch.

If anyone knows of a really fabulous wisteria wallpaper please would they let me know?

I used to have this in an old house, and loved it. The background had a slight sheen to it, I’d love to buy it again but I don’t think it’s still made. I’ve had what feels like 183,937 samples of toile wallpaper and none of them are quite right!

This reminds me of my 10th birthday when my mum finally caved and got me the Roald Dahl treasury, and I would spend every night reading Cinderella, red riding hood and the three little pigs and chortling away at the swearing and pg-13 descriptions.

Love the nostalgia this one gives.

Didn’t know I liked wallpaper and now love it.

It is Quentin Blake! I can't remember the story It's from but it's about a French professor who keeps parrots and greets them each morning with "hello, my fine feathered friends" so one day they hide and over the pages you have to spot the parrots in each room he looks in. It was one of my daughter's favourites. Maybe Monsieur Dupont?

I've just bought this for the feature wall in our soon to be transmogrified sitting room.

How hard is wallpapering? I mean seriously how hard?

I remember reading about Kate Moss' bathroom wallpaper which she had designed with de Gournay, I still dream about getting it but I think it's around £650 a metre......

@WickedSerious it looks gorgeous up. It's thick and easy to hang too, it almost feels like linen.

Looks dar in the pic but much brighter in daylight.....

I had a sample of this one and the light blue version but I thought the darker one was more dramatic.

I am so fussy when it comes to wallpaper. Took me forever to find one for my livingroom, I got a sample of Ralph Lauren paper and of course I fell in love with it. Never in my life have I considered buying wallpaper at that price per roll, and I needed 2 🙈
I have beautiful Laura Ashley Orient garden in my daughters room.
The pictures do neither justice, the RL is all beaded and both shine beautifully in the light

We have this in our garden flat. I love it!
