I asked AI to design a few wallpapers based on some mentioned on the thread, and it came up with some ridiculously good visuals. An idea, if you want "something like this", but not quite.
There seem to be "print your own" wallpaper services advertised online too. I think I am going to try it out.

I'd love this one for a childrens bedroom.

I have these in my home. I actually love both. Wallpapers and bare white walls so have a mixture.

@DwellingOnIt - the bathroom one is from Wall and Deco. It’s an Italian brand and although it’s waterproof and can be put inside showers also, I would recommend only putting it outside of shower area as ours did get ruined.

Just curious, do any of you wild-wallpaper-people have pictures on top of your wallpaper? I love these papers but I do have lots of paintings and photos on the walls, and I can't imagine having pictures on such bold walls.

@DuesToTheDirt i don’t have any pictures on these walls as yes for me it would look too bold. I do have plain walls where all my pictures and any art I like go. Which is basically downstairs!

I also love toile wallpapers and mat change the dining room to that.

I have this in my bedroom.

I love this too - have it above painted plain panelling so it is not so overwhelming.

I tried this because ds wanted a wallpaper with a jungle feel with lots of small cats peeking out. The AI came out with lots of good ones, but couldn't manage to make the images match up so you could print it in rolls and paper a whole wall.

Maybe if you were doing a mural it would work better.

In the next life I will buy de Gournay but until then I am on an extreme budget, so I have very little wallpaper actually on the walls. I do get samples of particular beauties and frame them (the toilet is a great place for this). Also, I sleep in the living room behind a wooden screen so I wallpaper the inside (I just put it up with those removable straps, so it can be swapped round. At the moment I'm sleeping surrounded by Borastapeter In the Oak which is beautiful.

I also love Thibaut reno stripe in green. It's too expensive but I put a search on ebay and came up with a length of the fabric for thirty quid. It is so stunning; I'm going to make a wall hanging from it.

As for offended white walls lady: this ain't your game! Start a minimalism thread and I promise to leave you undisturbed.

Yes, the ones I liked most from the results were more like a full-wall mural, not a repeated pattern ones.

DallE actually managed a quite decent edge match for the repeated patterns too for some of them - but yes, there were more misses than hits.

I will try to order to print my "whimsical alien garden in watercolours" now, and will report to the thread - probably in a few weeks.
