To good to be left buried on the other thread where I put it. This house deserves a thread all of it's own. The most fabulously maximalist interior I've seen in a long time, coupled with a really interesting building. here

It is very Frome!
Was in Frome on Sunday for the monthly Frome Independent & pretty much the entire contents of that house could be found for sale in the Flea bit if the market. But all for extortionately higher prices!
We were somewhat overwhelmed with how much more hipster it had become since we last went a few years ago.
Agree the house looks joyous & fun, much better than all these grey box houses.

FurierTransform · 10/08/2022 10:37

I like it :D

Davethecat2001 · 10/08/2022 12:59

Definitely my kind of vibe!

My style is a bit like this, maybe not quite as extreme, but we are doing up a house at the moment and I love colour and wallpaper and my nick nacks!

Probably not to everyones taste but most people seem to like what I do.

I was a little shocked to see how organised and tidy the study was. But then, looking at the other rooms, everything has a place and is in its place. This person is creative and bold but has an organised mind. Whole place could do with a good clean though.

Definitely one person living there alone, almost certainly a woman. I’d say anywhere between 35-65yo.

The house has been much loved and much lived in. Wonder why they’re selling.

It doesn't look dirty, it's just quite cluttered. The shelves are tidy, and the cooker and extractor are clean. I have no idea who lives there, but I'd like to meet them! They sound interesting and creative

MaggieFS · 10/08/2022 16:26

I agree I don't think it's dirty, there is just a LOT of stuff. I was quite disappointed to see the computer and football photo as I didn't expect to find such mundane things in such a characterful house!

TroysMammy · 10/08/2022 19:59

I just showed my DP the photos and as he recoiled in horror he said "fuck off" a few times.

blimey, it's only a house

LemonApplePeach · 10/08/2022 20:24

I was hoping no one saw the leg behind the door so I could triumphantly show it, but someone spotted it. I missed it the first few times I looked at the pics.

I wonder if there's a whole model upside down... Grin

I love love love the wallpaper. It looks really £££ though. The dancing ladies in the bathroom & that green in the kitchen.

Yes, I love the wallpaper in the dressing room

felulageller · 10/08/2022 21:04

I love it!

Butterbeer4All · 10/08/2022 21:10

I love the bright colors

MaggieFS · 10/08/2022 21:24

Oh I had missed that leg. I thought you meant the one in the postcard/photo in the study.

CPL593H · 10/08/2022 21:40

Love it. They wouldn't be my preferred colours but it really reflects a personality.

Gorgeous building too.

Ireolu · 10/08/2022 22:45

It's cool and definitely different. And would be very liveable with all their stuff out. I would leave the walls very kooky.

JamnMarmalade · 10/08/2022 23:01

The leg belonged to the previous owner
