What colour is your bedroom?

Annoying DH. Halfway through painting the room oval room blue I've changed my mind. Too similar to my DS's room (Dix blue) and lounge (de nimes). Too dark too.

Now I have no idea what to do. Maybe borrowed light or Drizzle (LG). But can't get LG anywhere today and want to carry on painting tonight. Doesn't have to be FB, I just can't decide on anything and have their colour card here.

What colour is everyone's bedroom? Need some inspiration. I like colour but also don't want anything darker it turns out.

Closest f and B colour is brinjal, but that's more vibrant red/aubergine. Edwardian Maroon is much more the sort of colour that absorbs light.

Curtains and bedding are lavender, furniture is light praline and walls are about to be Skimming Stone

Craig and Rose French Turquoise. It's a fabulous peacock green/blue colour and I love it.

Ours is a hideous selections of yellowy beige plus ugly paper chosen by the previous owners, and our bedroom will no doubt be the last room we decorate. Last house it was elephant's breath which I loved and before that pure brilliant white same as the rest of that house (we painted it Elephant's Breathe when we realised DD2 was going to be a summer solstice baby, got beautiful thick curtains at the same time). But pure brilliant white is my default.

Lots of lovely colours Smile

Previously we've had dark blues and greens, but in the recent move, we went with Johnstone's Copper and Red Spice. I love it, the colours go really well together. My spouse's friend who helped us move called it 'interesting'...

I've joked that I went with invigorating colours in the bedroom because it's waking up rather than falling asleep I tend to have issues with (and with blackout curtains, I can't see colours with the lights out anyways). I also went with a calming colour (sage green) in the kitchen, which I also really like - I need the soothing boost there. Maybe I'm just contrary Grin.
