What colour is your bedroom?

Annoying DH. Halfway through painting the room oval room blue I've changed my mind. Too similar to my DS's room (Dix blue) and lounge (de nimes). Too dark too.

Now I have no idea what to do. Maybe borrowed light or Drizzle (LG). But can't get LG anywhere today and want to carry on painting tonight. Doesn't have to be FB, I just can't decide on anything and have their colour card here.

What colour is everyone's bedroom? Need some inspiration. I like colour but also don't want anything darker it turns out.

Dulux soft stone, done in the last few weeks

Vikingmama79 · 14/11/2021 17:52

F&B light blue is a lovely colour, very serene greeny/blue shade.

Angliski · 14/11/2021 17:53

Green ground. fB. Very restful.

SweetsAndChocolates · 14/11/2021 17:54

@beggingforsleep overtly olive (feature wall). A lot lighter than I thought it would be, but a nice change from purple Grin

Gwrach · 14/11/2021 18:07

White, like Dulux trade emulsion white. Nothing fancy. My entire house is this colour except DS room which is a pale blue.

I'm not a fan of colour on the wall because it clashes with my artwork on the walls. 😂

AlfonsoTheUnrepentant · 14/11/2021 18:32

Some light blue shade (like a Tiffany blue) with pure white trim. Both from Farrow and Ball. Forgotten the names, though.

westr · 14/11/2021 18:34

Cornforth white is nice for bedrooms - very soft grey

maofteens · 14/11/2021 19:10

Magnolia (as I've recently moved in) but I'll be painting it a very soft pink. My last bedroom had a mural of giant watercolour flowers on one wall. My daughters is a light yellow, third bedroom has a mural of bamboo and birds.

WaitinginVain · 14/11/2021 19:25

I have Laura Ashley Ivory, all other bedrooms are F&B Pointing.

DappledThings · 14/11/2021 19:45

Crown Box Tree. I love it. Can't bear white or off-white walls except in corridors.

Hodgewell1 · 14/11/2021 20:14

Just looked up Crown box tree and it is the perfect green but ... it’s now been discontinued!! Back to the drawing board to find something similar

Michellexxx · 14/11/2021 20:17

Drop cloth by farrow and ball. It’s a beige/grey:green. Hard to explain, but lovely!

Killerqueen2244 · 14/11/2021 20:21

I’ve painted my room in borrowed light but I’m not too sure whether I like it or if it’s too much like a nursery!!

quinin · 14/11/2021 20:28

Mine is Salix by Little Greene too. Lovely colour, very restful.

Mantlemoose · 14/11/2021 20:35

Soft stone walls with champagne silk coloured curtains and bedspread. Carpet is flecked beige. I have heavy walnut furniture- sleigh bed etc so need to keep it light. Tiffany style ceiling light, pale gold lamps to which I change the shades for summer and winter.

Justnotfeelingit · 14/11/2021 20:43

F&B Pegnoir. Love it. Soft and cosy and perfect.

NameChangeinHaste · 14/11/2021 20:54

F&B blue grey, which is really a soft sage green.

pancakesonsunday · 14/11/2021 20:56

Daughter's is sulking room pink and son's is cornforth white. Ours is the same boring beige shade it was when we moved in- I clearly don't know my priorities

userisi · 14/11/2021 20:56

White. I like very calm, plain bedrooms (for me, kids have bright colours!) farrow and ball skimming stone is nice.

KimchiJjigae · 14/11/2021 20:58

Ours is F&B Pigeon and I love it! It's so calming and relaxing

SollaSollew · 14/11/2021 21:01

Mine is Great White which (like every F&B white is not actually white!) it’s a very light pinky grey. It’s very restful but not bland either.

MassDebate · 14/11/2021 22:19

A wall in Brassica and the rest in Cabbage White (all F&B). Absolutely love it (wasn’t brave enough to do more brassica) as they complement each other but also contrast so it’s not matchy matchy.
DS has Borrowed Light in his room; it’s a very light baby blue in his sunny room; i imagine it might be more grey-blue in a room which is north facing.

RosesAndHellebores · 14/11/2021 22:22

@MassDebate I'm sure the colours are lovely but I can't help giggling about all those brassicas in the bedroom - whatever you do don't have sprouts or strike a light.Grin

RosesAndHellebores · 14/11/2021 22:24

@Hodgewell1 a large paint store will be able to mix a discontinued shade for you.

YesPleaseMary · 14/11/2021 22:27

One wall Stiffkey, others white, white woodwork, gold/yellow carpet and gold/blue curtains. I love it.
