ImBarryScott · 16/10/2007 11:09

All I want is a little house with a little garden.......

hoxtonchick · 16/10/2007 11:14

ImBarryScott · 16/10/2007 11:20

You know you want to take an offer of £170,000 .*

Don't worry, though, I saw you other thread and that house of yours is lovely. I'm sure it won't be long.

*We want the cat thrown in for that price.

hoxtonchick · 16/10/2007 11:21

pah, my friend at work said she could pay a bit but would include her car, worth at least 50 quid......

Bessie123 · 16/10/2007 11:27

hoxtonchick, where's your other thread with house on it? Do you have a garden? My mum is looking to buy, but would rather be near victoria park village

BOOndle · 16/10/2007 11:28

Gah! I lived on Victoria Park Road back in the unreconstructed days when you could get shot, not a sodding pizza, in the local pubs.

hoxtonchick · 16/10/2007 11:31

here you are bessie. just about walkable to v. park (especially if you go along the canal), but much closer to equally desirable broadway market.

BOOndle · 16/10/2007 11:34

double snort!

hoxtonchick · 16/10/2007 11:39

i am sniggering at all the hackney reprobates on this thread .

Bessie123 · 16/10/2007 11:46

Look, it is called Victoria Park village. How would you describe that area of hackney if you were telling people where you were looking?

BOOndle · 16/10/2007 11:46

errrm Victoria Park

it's not a village

really

hoxtonchick · 16/10/2007 11:49

stop fighting & buy my house !

Bessie123 · 16/10/2007 11:53

No, it's not a village, although it does feel more like one than the areas surrounding it.

Hoxtonchick, what is transport like round there?

BOOndle · 16/10/2007 11:55

hoxty loves her buses

Bessie123 · 16/10/2007 11:55

Ah

BOOndle · 16/10/2007 11:55

hc
have you decided to dump F&*&^tons?

EffiePerine · 16/10/2007 11:57

I hope not, we're planning to put our flat on the market next year ( a bargain, of course ). Mind you, to get our house and garden we'll have to move out of London

hoxtonchick · 16/10/2007 11:57

there are lots of buses, 55 goes to the west end, 149 & 48 to london bridge, 26 & 243 to waterloo, 242 to tottenham court rd & 67 to aldgate. all of these are within 5 mins walk. the east london line extension will also be 5 mins away when it opens in 2009.

hoxtonchick · 16/10/2007 11:58

not yet bundle, they do keep bringing viewers in. but will do if no sale in the next couple of weeks i think...

hoxtonchick · 16/10/2007 11:58

better transport here than v. park bessie....
