waaah, no one wants to buy my house

i know selling your house is meant to be one of the most stressful things to do, but whenever we've done it before it's been very straightforward....

we've only been on the market for 6 weeks, had a fair few viewers & 1 lot had a 2nd viewing, but no offers yet. i am the most impatient person in the world, but we need a quick sale as have found dream house & need to sell ours asap as other people have offers on it too.

we're with the pushiest agents, & have already dropped the price by £50k. dp & i were just discussing going multi agency and sacking the first lot if they don't sell it by the end of the week.

all advice/commiserations/gin welcome .

Is there any way that I can link to it and then remove the link in a few minutes?

I hate the idea of RL people knowing who I am on mumsnet .

3 viewings in the next 3 days - things are looking up.... god, but i hate tidying the house. am erring towards fresh flowers & poncey scented candles. shall i?

Fresh flowers - nice ones, not the sort my dh got off the garage forecourt when I sent him out for some - can't harm but scented candles/brewing coffee/baking bread seems like trying a bit too hard.

am fundamentally idle so will take lazy arse option....

hey maomao, you owe me an e-mail . no news from friday's viewing. i have even lost the will to hassle the estate agent, this is not good. hope we have one in the next couple of days though as i'm working & dp is off work with the children so he would have to do the tidying....

Any update Hoxtonchick? I've got friends trying to sell near London Fields and they're reporting a lot of viewings but thinking it might just be the 'nice day out' brigade as no-one's made a whisper of an offer.
