ok who wants to find me a gorgeous house in the Peak District?

either old or totally modern (think huff not barrat); 4 beds minimum; one that looks like it's in the arse end of nowhere but is in fact easy distance to Sheffield and/or Chesterfield; village considered but only if I can;t see it from my bedroom.

DH is from the Peak District (Chapel en le Frith). My post is a reference to 'The league of gentlemen' which was filmed in Hadfield and was tongue in cheek referring to the locals (think banjos and two heads etc)

Picking brother's brains (he lives in Sheffiled) and he reckons Hope for eg would be a fair way to Sheffield even tho quite near.

H/ever he points out you could get the train (we he would as doesn't have car) and then no worries. Plenty of people do it apparently.

Still have to negotiate Sheffild rush hour tho. Where will you actually be working hatwoman or does that depend upon the house????

if - and it's a huge if we did - I would probably have to do my current job free lance which would mean working from home with regular trips to London. I could, possibly, get some work at either Sheffiled or Manchester unis
