Jotul F400 and absolutely yes. It's the bollocks. Pricey, but will last for decades.

It’s a multi fuel which I like, big door to take decent sized wood, stainless steel so heats up quicker which I thought would be good as we only have on in the evening (but cools down quicker too) . Window designed to keep clean.

It’s 4.5 kw so doesn’t need extra ventilation put in. I love it.

We have an Aga, little wenlock too, never had any issue with it.

Coalbrookedale Severn by Aga for about 25years. Beautiful arch doors with swans on the bottom.
Now we have a Charnwood Country 16 which is bigger than the ones on here. It is fantastic. Lights q uickly and easily, draws well on a still night and stays on all night or all day while I am at work. 8:30 -5pm
Although I loved the others this is more efficient they have come a long way. We run a large water tank and seven radiators.

A large Jotul. It was far too expensive but we live in draughty, old house and it chucks lots of heat.

We have two Morsø 4 stoves. They are wonderful. I live the simple design.

My son has a Parkray and loves it. He took out a gas fire because he missed our log burn after he had been home.😃
