It's got twigs, an oversized clock, a deep and meaningful huge plank sign, smeg fridge, bunting, LOVE letters, a hanging twig heart. Aaaagh, I bet the owners think they're really unusual and quirky cliche

sadly, no wooden letter can ever conceal the tragedy of those light fittings.

RCheshire · 19/12/2012 21:33

I have a deep hatred of those letters. EAT, BATHE, LOVE, SLEEP...

Where did they come from? Why do people buy them? Is anything more banal?

CanIHaveAPetGiraffePlease · 19/12/2012 21:34

It's got sooooooooo much space though! I Want it!

Chaoscarriesonagain · 19/12/2012 21:37

It's perfect!

Battlefront · 19/12/2012 21:39

Ah but how lovely would it be with your things in it...?

judefawley · 19/12/2012 21:39

Ghastly decor - straight out of Next.

But it could be lovely.

Onetwothreeoops · 19/12/2012 21:43

Very odd layout upstairs - a shower room next to a bathroom?

MsElleTow · 19/12/2012 21:45

I like it! Once it's got all your own furniture etc in, it would be gorgeous.

Battlefront · 19/12/2012 21:47

I think that layout makes perfect sense. The convenience of two bathrooms without the obscenity that is the en-suite. Really don't like the naffness of them, the way they're usually the size of a small airing cupboard or want to hear DH doing his ablutions from the bed!

HappyGirlNow · 19/12/2012 22:15

It's someone's home at the end of the day...

CuddyMum · 19/12/2012 22:38

I like it but then I like Next decor too :)

RCheshire · 19/12/2012 22:39

I have the pet hate of those letters. But I do think it's a lovely house. If only I could find something similar in my areas...

AlwaysReadyForABlether · 19/12/2012 22:40

I love it

CuddyMum · 19/12/2012 23:06

But I do hate those letters. I'm tempted to have something like SHITE on the cistern in the downstairs loo...

zippy539 · 19/12/2012 23:09

Super naff decor but v handy for Bristol airport (which very few places are...)

SavoirFaire · 19/12/2012 23:22

The bedrooms are all rather pokey - presumably why there are no photographs. But it does have lovely views and lots of space overall. Also why would you not show the actual kitchen units?

SavoirFaire · 19/12/2012 23:22

Cuddymum Brilliant. Do it.

Devora · 19/12/2012 23:33

This one made me laugh - definitely today's prize for oh-don't-clean-up-on-my-account: www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-39263513.html

It's student housing, isn't it? You'd think the estate agent might be motivated to just empty the bin and draw the curtains, though. And what is that THING on the bed?

Devora · 19/12/2012 23:35

And these ones LOVE a pelmet: www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-35494960.html

scripsi · 19/12/2012 23:43

The student house has the typical slightly broken toilet seat I remember so well from my student days in photo 6

MerylStrop · 19/12/2012 23:47

That first house has definitely been "dressed" for selling. I bet the estate agent brought the stupid letters. Those twigs look totally out of place. Note no pics of bedrooms, that's because they have a floordrobe and pizza boxes everywhere

Tbh the landlord in that student house should have waited until his tenants were out before marketing. There's very little point in putting it up on rightmove in that state.

HoobaubleDoobauble · 20/12/2012 08:38

I'm just hoping that the external door next to the toilet in the student house isn't the main entrance/exit!

KeepYerTitsIn · 20/12/2012 08:53

Lovely. Taking the piss out of people's actual homes.
