What was the format of the maths paper yesterday at WUS? Written or multiple choice?

My son said it was combined, not only multiple choices.

Odd as I heard some boys from our school only saw multiple choice questions and some only saw written format. My DS had no multiple choice questions on his maths paper.

They have different versions...? OMG. My son said it's written, not multiple choices like said in the email that WUS sent before.

Mine only had written, there was no multiple choice as communicated on the email. Not a combined paper as you had mentioned. Not sure if there definitely was different versions or unnecessary chatter amongst other parents

My DS mentioned "not only" multiple choices, so I assumed it was combined. Might have misunderstanding though.

We received second round notice - very long time to stay at the school then. Feeling so nervous...

We just heard from SPJS as well - interviewing there on Monday. Fingers crossed! Does anyone know what the format of SPJS interviews is?

There are math and English activities and writing task within class as I have been told.

The SPJS website does have some descriptions of the stages, however the exam format was slightly different from what it said so maybe not that reliable.

If anyone has any info on the SPJS or WUS interview formats, please could you share! Much appreciated.

Many congratulations to all as well :). We decided pretty quickly this afternoon on SPJS because of an easier commute and because DS has a couple of very good friends there. I also felt it was a better fit with DS's personality.
