We were told that the children would be told today but apparently some of the results weren't as expected so they haven't been told. Not sure when we will hear now.

Dixiechickonhols · 04/07/2017 15:47

Mine was told today.

Sparklepants · 04/07/2017 15:49

Got them today I've no idea what the scores mean or what it was out of.
104
109
111

TwoLeftSocks · 04/07/2017 16:03

Ours have got them today.

3littlebadgers · 04/07/2017 16:04

Oh, DS home they won't get them until the end of year reports at the end of term!

Pickerel · 04/07/2017 16:08

We got them today.

Sparkle, those are the scaled scores so 100 is expected and 120 is the maximum.

3littlebadgers · 04/07/2017 16:08

In that case well done minisparklepants Smile

Mumski45 · 04/07/2017 16:09

The scores are all out of 120 and anything above 100 means they have reached the expected standard.

Your DC has done very well Sparklepants.

Sparklepants · 04/07/2017 16:10

Oh good, bless her she was so nervous. I'm so pleased she's done well.

4forksake · 04/07/2017 16:25

Our school got them today

Mandolinoparadiso · 04/07/2017 17:48

Our children came home with them today.

SkeletonSkins · 04/07/2017 18:08

100 = meeting expected standard
110 = a high score
120 max

Average score in maths and reading was 104
Average score in SPAG was 106

Can anyone clarify something about the teacher assessment bit? Were you able to get 'greater depth' on anything other than writing? TIA

Pickerel · 04/07/2017 18:50

According to my DS you were only able to get greater depth in writing.

Mandolinoparadiso · 04/07/2017 18:55

You can get 'greater depth' in all subjects – it's marks of 110 or above, according to DS's school.

PhilODox · 04/07/2017 18:57

Have we had the obligatory"oh DD got 120 in everything, but I know nuffin, and is that good?" post yet?

noblegiraffe · 04/07/2017 18:57

Grade boundaries are here. Don't know what the tests were out of though!

LemonScentedStickyBat · 04/07/2017 19:11

Thanks pickerel - my ds didn't know, which was surprising as he understood all the scaled score stuff!

bringonyourwreckingball · 04/07/2017 19:14

We don't get ours til Friday - when the whole school get their reports.

IcanMooCanYou · 04/07/2017 19:26

No, you can't get teacher assessment at greater depth in anything other than writing. All other subjects are just at expected or below ('working towards' or below key stage)

UnicornPug · 04/07/2017 19:42

A scaled score of 110 in maths, reading and GPS is greater depth. In writing, it's teacher assessed. We've been given official marks, but won't be given writing result until reports, not sure why.
My dd has got greater depth in Reading and GPS (119 and 113 respectively) and just missed it with maths (109). However, she is proudest of the maths result as that is the one she has worked hardest at! I've told her I'm not proud of her results, as they weren't earned by me. But I'm exceptionally proud of her and the effort she has put in this year.
And before anyone accuses me of bragging, dd is in an exceptionally bright cohort. Hers aren't even in the top 10 results of her class of 33...

Here are this years Scaled Scores.

Well done to your dd unicorn! Fantastic scores!

Edna1969 · 04/07/2017 20:35

Unicornpug I think you can brag a bit. I'm going to. Like your DD my DD has worked really hard and I'm so proud of her. She got 109 in maths and 118 and 120 in English! She has also benefited from good teaching.
