2 minutes - we live just down the road

WhattodoSue · 19/05/2016 16:14

20 minutes.

attheendoftheday · 19/05/2016 16:28

5 mins to the bus stop where dd1 is picked up, then 30 mins on the bus (no charge for this). After school the lovely bus driver drops dd1 at the front gate.

If I have to drive when dropping dd2 at preschool it's about 20 mins each way.

Major downside of rural living!

TwoLeftSocks · 19/05/2016 16:31

Ten minute walk.

It's been a 30-45 minute drive recently, bit that's because we moved the DC to their new schools before we moved house (long story). It's a nightmare and I'm very much looking forward to walking again.

RoganJosh · 19/05/2016 16:33

0.5 a mile each way, so I allow 15 mins. Preschooler does it twice each way, sometimes on a scooter.

TeenAndTween · 19/05/2016 16:45

7 minute walk

Pengweng · 19/05/2016 16:56

3 min walk. It's at the bottom of the road.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 19/05/2016 16:58

10.5 miles because we live in the middle of nowhere Smile

GrimmauldPlace · 19/05/2016 16:59

About 1-2 minutes. Hasn't stopped DS being late twice this year Blush

Mandzi34 · 19/05/2016 17:02

50 minutes on foot. 30 minutes in the car.

jaffacakesareevil · 19/05/2016 17:10

1 minute to the back gate, about 7 to the front.

ImaginaryCat · 19/05/2016 17:13

5 mins when everyone's on good form, 10-15 when the Reception aged child turns to hellspawn en route.

JennyOnAPlate · 19/05/2016 17:35

Half a mile so around 15 minutes depending on whether I'm dragging the Dc along by the hand or they're charging ahead.

Cleo1303 · 19/05/2016 18:33

12-15 minutes by car, or sometimes 10 in the afternoon.

Now DD is at her secondary school it's 20 minutes there and sometimes 25 getting back. (Groan)

Idliketobeabutterfly · 19/05/2016 18:37

Only in nursery but off to same school in September and about a twenty minute walk

Longdistance · 19/05/2016 18:38

60 seconds, but have to take them to breakfast club in the mornings.

louisejxxx · 19/05/2016 18:48

15 mins driving. It would take about 2 hours walking.

MrAloysiusFlyte · 19/05/2016 18:54

About 5 minutes if everyone is focused.

About 20 minutes if it's a flower picking, imaginary friend kind of day Grin

dizzytomato · 19/05/2016 18:58

10 minute walk (20 if the grass is the wrong colour that day) or 5 minutes on the bike.

WideWoman · 19/05/2016 19:04

A 20 minute walk - about 3/4 of a mile.

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 19/05/2016 19:06

10 minute walk to the other side of the village.

BuggertheTabloids · 19/05/2016 19:09

Half an hour walk each way. Both have done it since starting reception, soon got used to it.

mercifulTehlu · 19/05/2016 19:10

Less than 2 minute walk.

dontpokethebear · 19/05/2016 19:15

About 3 mins. It's only across the road and through the church yard Smile
