How long is your school run?

I wonder how long your school run is for your reception child please?

2 minutes - we live just down the road

20 minutes.

5 mins to the bus stop where dd1 is picked up, then 30 mins on the bus (no charge for this). After school the lovely bus driver drops dd1 at the front gate.

If I have to drive when dropping dd2 at preschool it's about 20 mins each way.

Major downside of rural living!

Ten minute walk.

It's been a 30-45 minute drive recently, bit that's because we moved the DC to their new schools before we moved house (long story). It's a nightmare and I'm very much looking forward to walking again.

0.5 a mile each way, so I allow 15 mins. Preschooler does it twice each way, sometimes on a scooter.

7 minute walk

3 min walk. It's at the bottom of the road.

10.5 miles because we live in the middle of nowhere

About 1-2 minutes. Hasn't stopped DS being late twice this year

50 minutes on foot. 30 minutes in the car.

1 minute to the back gate, about 7 to the front.

5 mins when everyone's on good form, 10-15 when the Reception aged child turns to hellspawn en route.

Half a mile so around 15 minutes depending on whether I'm dragging the Dc along by the hand or they're charging ahead.

12-15 minutes by car, or sometimes 10 in the afternoon.

Now DD is at her secondary school it's 20 minutes there and sometimes 25 getting back. (Groan)

Only in nursery but off to same school in September and about a twenty minute walk

60 seconds, but have to take them to breakfast club in the mornings.

15 mins driving. It would take about 2 hours walking.

About 5 minutes if everyone is focused.

About 20 minutes if it's a flower picking, imaginary friend kind of day

10 minute walk (20 if the grass is the wrong colour that day) or 5 minutes on the bike.

A 20 minute walk - about 3/4 of a mile.

10 minute walk to the other side of the village.

Half an hour walk each way. Both have done it since starting reception, soon got used to it.

Less than 2 minute walk.

About 3 mins. It's only across the road and through the church yard
