I am waiting. My first choice is a school that allocates places based on lottery system! So makes me super anxious as I have no idea if we get in. If it was distance I would have more of a chance because we live near school.

ShelaghTurner · 18/04/2016 14:18

Yes in Surrey and the wait is driving me crazy 😬

toots111 · 18/04/2016 14:22

Feeling sick! We live in London and aren't close enough to any of the local schools (despite being 320m from our nearest, last year they had a last offered place under 280m and rumours are they have 40 siblings this year) so it really is a lottery for us. Our only hope of a local school is a religious school which we applied for but will be way down on the priority list as we're not religious. So if not there, we'll probably be assigned a school the other side of the borough. Feel sick!

slowdownyourneighbours · 18/04/2016 14:31

Yes! V impatient waiting here as well. We're also in a bit of an admissions black hole - no idea what we'll be offered. Trying to stay positive!

Mandzi34 · 18/04/2016 14:48

Yep waiting here also for London. Hoping to get a place due to sibling policy but I won't feel happy until I see the confirmation. Oldest didn't get his secondary choice so would like some good news!

ilovesthediff · 18/04/2016 14:55

Same in Cardiff... 4pm on the portal if no email.

Andcake · 18/04/2016 15:02

Feeling sick to stomach as well - worse than my a level results day.
At work and having to sneakily check ... We moved to be nearer better schools and just know that all the pain of moving could be wasted.

Andcake · 18/04/2016 15:04

I've just downloaded and logged into the parent comm app anyone used it

snowgirl1 · 18/04/2016 15:09

We're in Surrey. I keep logging on in the hope that the info is there.

Highflyingmamma1980 · 18/04/2016 15:14

Ive got parentcomms app although i don't know if that will help us get the results earlier!

ShelaghTurner · 18/04/2016 15:26

Yes I've got the app too although that's staring at me uselessly 😡

snowgirl1 · 18/04/2016 15:41

Yes, I've got the app too - and been checking that too. Every blip or beep my phone makes has me jumping to check it...just in case it's "the" email sent early. I'm not quite sure why I'm so obsessed, as I thought I'd resigned myself to getting our 4th preference - which is our contingency choice.

Highflyingmamma1980 · 18/04/2016 16:07

Im not sure if the app will aleet us early. I hope so. Ita 4pm now and still nothing! Come on...

OP posts:
ShelaghTurner · 18/04/2016 16:12

I'm climbing the walls. I keep checking the application to make sure I filled it in properly. Like I can do anything about it if I didnt Hmm

Highflyingmamma1980 · 18/04/2016 16:17

Same here. I keep second guessing myself like you! I just want to know. Come on Surrey/London

BrightandEarly · 18/04/2016 16:23

Waiting here too. We should get in (220m from school) but it's a one form entry and 'catchment' has varied wildly depending on the number of siblings.

Andcake · 18/04/2016 16:28

Flipping between app and email - just revealed to work colleagues why I'm jumpy
Bet it will arrive whilst I'm on tube and it will be bad news

ShelaghTurner · 18/04/2016 16:30

Someone on the other thread says it goes live at 5 with emails sent out from then onwards. Only have to amuse ourselves for another 31 minutes.... I Spy anyone?

PalacePalacePalace · 18/04/2016 16:35

Another Londoner joining the thread. I had a job interview today which took my mind off primary admissions - well for a short time! Grin

I just checked the website and am surprised by my 5th and 6th preferences! Applying was so long ago I've forgotten what schools we put down!

SomedayMyPrinceWillCome · 18/04/2016 16:35

So nervous here.
Is it too early for Wine

Highflyingmamma1980 · 18/04/2016 16:35

Eye spy! Ha ha. My son is driving me mad. He keeps asking me stuff but I feel too pre-occupied! Ha ha. Hope its not much longer than 5pm!

Highflyingmamma1980 · 18/04/2016 16:40

Good luck all. I am not waiting this year but I well remember the agony of not hearing until 5pm when everyone else seems to know so much earlier. Hope everyone gets the news they want!
