Impatient in Surrey/London

Any one else impatiently waitig on the surrey/london admissions team to press the button! im dieing to know what place my son has. Most other areas found out at midnight. I know surrey/London is a huge area but im desperate to find out!

I'm shaking...

Even poor little dd2 keeps saying "do you know what school I'm going to yet mummy?" Please God let it be good news and soon!

My little man said "i ll just stay at my pre school if i don't get offered a school". He must habe been listening to me talk about it!

I was waiting last year. The email didn't actually come until about 10 pm. I logged on the website to find out at about 5 pm.

7 minutes...

My email for dd1 came at 6.45 but I must have logged on earlier because I had an email confirming my acceptance of the place at about 4.45. This was four years ago though and no use to me now!

Waiting and nervous too. Also waiting for dentist appointment right now so double anxiety

Luckily ds is at home with dp (sahd) and he purposely said they would be out and about to take his mind off it . I however am at my desk staring at a screen

How do you view the outcome from the eadmissions website (can't see a button for it...)

I thought 17.00 would be the magic time. Come on Surrey cc!!

It's on the site. We got the faith school. Not ideal but at least it's walking distance and we'll hopefully get a higher priority school through waiting list movement before school starts.

Found it very on website no app or email - now can't get through to dp to tell him

Surrey results are in. How did everyone in Surrey get on? I got my first choice. I know im very lucky and I very pleased. Hope everyone else was lucky.

Got our first and only choice with sibling policy - very relieved!

First choice here - but no email or app - there must be loads out there who don't even know the results are in.

Some friends have got into first choice but haven't heard anything yet. Hoping for a sibling place but still worried!

Can I pls ask a question, does the child get priority if his/her sibling is still in the school and was offer within catchment area and the family hasnt moved since?

I know there is such a shortage of places full stop let along getting into what is considered a "good" school...

most work on distance as crow flies and there isn't a "catchment area"

I thought all schools have the same admission criteria that special needs, faiths then siblings. Oh dear then many families who have elder child got into the school by right then the younger one wont guarantee a place???
