Positive test 3 weeks after medical abortion

Hi everyone 💗 I had a medical termination at home 3 weeks ago. I took the pregnancy test that was provided to me by the clinic and it came out positive (faint line). I then took 2 normal tests and they came out positive too (picture attached). I did bleed a lot and passed a few clots, still spotting on and off even now.

I’m so scared that the abortion hasn’t worked, I contacted BPAS, who subsequently just told me to retest again in a weeks time. Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar?

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated 💗

@ArtfulMintBalonz yeah definitely, I’ve read so many posts where there has been complications or hasn’t worked 😔 just added stress that’s not needed. I hope the procedure goes ok for you, at least it will be over and done with. Just hoping mine has actually worked this time. Xx

Same here… took the tablets at home as had two small children ( my husband had a vasectomy came back all clear then still got pregnant!) retest- sperm present , after doctor suggested id cheated!
took the test 3 weeks later… went for scan .. had to have surgery anyway… retained tissue . 2 weeks ago today x
