I know that there are a few of us struggling on here with hyperemesis. Anyone fancy joining a support thread?

A little about me...

I'm 10 weeks pg with dc2 and am on stemetil for the constant sickness. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Today is a bad day. I can cope with the HG but I do get a bit irate when people tell me about their 'miracle cure' as if I haven't already tried everything

How are you today Prettyfly1? Did you get anti-emetics last time? Have you thought of going to your doc this time and asking for some? Cyclizine works for a lot of people but there are other ones that they can try if it doesn't work for you.

hi everyone, i have just found out im pregant, i think roughly 4 weeks. with my last pregnancy i had severe hyperemesis, i was in hopsital 3 times with it- it was awful! i was just wondering if everyone had it in all pregnancys, or is there a chance i might not get it this time?? im hoping so!! have started to feel nausea throughtout the day but nothing i cant cope with. i have a 5yrold, and really want to avoid being as ill as i was last time, if thats possible!

Hi girls I am soooo glad I found you!! I am so low because of how I am feeling and like all those posts above I am sick to death of everyone saying "oh I felt like that" or "If your sick it's a healthy pregnancy - be gratefull!"

By the way I am 11weeks with my 2nd DC. Was very sick with my DD1 but did not have these constant nausea/saliva/gas xtra's I seem to have this time.

Have been given some anti-sickness drug (prochlorperazine bucca) but it didn't work. I went back to the doc's today but she side tracked me by stating I have a urine infection and "once that clears up you will feel much better!" How?...

Housework is mounting up, 10yr relationship suffering and dd1 thinks I have been abducted by aliens and to top it all I am supposed to be off on long waited hols next week but ...well I don't even have the energy for sun, sand and sea...Pls help xxxxxx

natts1 I really hope you don't get sick this time...it's true you might not! I have had HG all three times with my boys and it wasn't nice but don't ever forget the end result is well worth it.

My easiest pregnancy (I managed to avoid hospitalisation - just!) was with my second and that was the only time I used homeopathy...so perhaps it helped. Speaking of which does anyone know the name of the homeopath in the camberly area that was on the hyperemesis.org.uk website?...I can't access it and I would love to get the details of that homeopathic doctor as I now live in that area.

Best wishes girls. Hang in there Misskizzy.
