I've never even LIKED smash!

(Am I going to hell?) lol

With DS1 it was happy meals. DS2 it was dairy, yoghurts, cheese ect ...

Mine is tinned peas (only tinned will do), anchovies and pineapple all in one bowl with a topping of mango chutney or red onion marmalade.

At least there are fruit and veg involved, but only in tinned form.

Both of my pregnancies have been poppadums and microwave popcorn. I am fairly addicted to both still now, but I remember the guy from the indian turning up with an order for one chicken korma and 10 poppadoms. He took one look at the bump and grinned

WrongSideOfTwenty · 22/05/2008 19:36

Shower gel and soap, I used to sneak into the bathroom to lather it up on a sponge and smell it at every opportunity!

kayzisexpecting · 22/05/2008 19:38

Pickled onions. I just love them!!

Flame · 22/05/2008 19:40

Ooh I bought a lipstick based on smell when I was pregnant!! Wore it oodles (luckily the colour was nice too)

pleasechange · 22/05/2008 19:43

I'm totally addicted to smell of petrol, paint, pretty much anything solvent-related. Think about smelling these things all the time, it's driving me mad

Meandmyjoe · 22/05/2008 19:48

I was another smash fan! Only thing that didn't make me wanna throw up. Had to have grated mature cheddar in it though. Thinking about it now actually makes me wanna hurl but pregnancy is a strange thing!

minster · 22/05/2008 20:38

With dd it was doritos & with ds pot noodles this time I've been eating loads of toasted cheese sandwiches.

eekamoose · 22/05/2008 20:45

Cheese sandwiches.

Cheese on crackers.

Occasional beer.

Toast.

Wine gums.

Can't remember much else I ate all through both my pregnancies.

But then I felt sick from week 6 to week 40.

Both babies fit and well and 9lb 2oz and 8lb 15oz.

TillyScoutsmum · 22/05/2008 20:47

scotch eggs Ate stacks of them and DP chose to announce it to a group of strangers at an ante natal class

saralou · 22/05/2008 20:48

1st 6months it was dominoes pizza.... we became 'valued customers'

then it was packets of instant noodles, chilli and chicken flavour... 3 meals a day!

onefunkymama · 22/05/2008 21:12

Raw onions pealed and eaten whole and lime pickle whole jars at a time straight from the jar!!

kentgirl73 · 22/05/2008 21:21

With my daugther it was carpet underlay and rubber gloves! = I used to have the underlay under my pillow and in labour i was smelling the gloves!

With my son, it was breathing in, chewing and smelling a hot water bottle!!! - I used to love to inhale it = very strange!

jennylindinha · 22/05/2008 21:35

Never wanted smash but I was obsessed with potato waffles! A whole packet at once of course!

The only other things I could eat were huge chunks of cheddar, pickled cauliflower pickled onions and bags and bags of Haribo Tangfastics! I love those sour things.

I've got my appetite well and truly back now (22 weeks) but mostly for bad things like cake and biscuits. I wish I craved fruit, I would feel less guilty stuffing a few apples and bananas in instead of a half a packet of chocolate biscuits...

chocbiscuits · 23/05/2008 03:07

Sweet and sour pork balls (mainly because of that bright red sauce stuff). And olives (but only black ones, those green ones are NASTY!).

fymandbean · 23/05/2008 06:47

mine wasn't so much what but the fact I told anyone who would listen that I didn't have any cravings at all....then went into M&S and came out with

a pinapple
fresh chopped pineapple
dried pineapple
Pineapple juice
and nothing else!

Bodkin · 23/05/2008 08:28

cabbage - sauerkraut, coleslaw, pickled red.... couldn't get enough of the stuff!

MrsTittleMouse · 23/05/2008 08:38

Rice Krispie squares.
Luckily that one didn't last too long.

gem1981 · 23/05/2008 08:46

sausage and egg mcmuffins -
If I am feeling not myself in the mornings I drive 20 minutes out of my way to get one - they know me at mcdonalds now

hattyyellow · 23/05/2008 10:17

Mmmm sausage and egg macmuffins.

This time around am completely craving "tired/low blood sugar hangover style food" - crisps, croissants, chips, white bread, noodles - anything really stodgy.

Am forcing myself to eat fruit and veg but would happily live off bread and potatoes.

nickytwotimes · 23/05/2008 10:20

Pot Noodles
